Would you argue it was budget friendly to pay $300 to never shave your legs again?

I have bought Groupons for laser hair removal and have done my lip, chin, neck, and underarms... legs will be next and I'm just waiting on another deal to post! It was WELL worth it!!!

I would do it in a heartbeat!!!

I've seen the Groupon deals but make sure you read the fine print. One of them I was going to purchase said you couldn't use it on dark colored hair...umm...if all of my little hairs were thin and blonde I wouldn't need laser hair removal! I have naturally blonde hair (on my head) but not all of my body hair is blonde, such as my underarms. I would be so mad if they wouldn't accept the Groupon...so I haven't purchased one yet.

Wow that's the opposite of what I've read. I thought it DID work well on dark hair as long as your skin was pale.

That is what I had read also, that the darker the hair, the better it would work. It was just one specific Groupon that said it was not valid for dark hair. It was weird. So, just make sure you clearly read all of the fine print before purchasing it and you should be fine. I think I might buy one next time I see a deal in my area.

yes! i recently decided i am going to start looking out for groupons for this. a few people i know have taken the plunge on it and i have only heard good things. with the cost of razors this will definitely be worth it.

I did it on my bikini line about 7 years ago. I have very dark, thick hair and very pale skin. I was a perfect candidate.
I did it because I also have very sensitive skin, and shaving in that area made me break out and have horrible ingrown hairs.

7 years out, I do have some hair regrowth. It is nothing like what I had before--very soft and sparse--but I do have to shave it.

I don't regret it--but I wish someone had told me that it is very common to have the hair come back at least a little.
The package I did had a two year guarantee. I could have another treatment done any time in those two years.
Hope that helps!

I've been looking for deals so my boyfriend can do his back, and also his head. He bics it, and I swear he takes longer in the shower to get ready than I do. And his back, well, it's ironic that he can grow hair there and not on his head. lol

Also, I like to use him as my guinea pig. I would check to see if the doctors had good reviews before I bought one ... just in case.

How many treatments is the groupon good for? It usually takes more than a few treatments to stunt the hair growth.

It's good for six; the dr's website says they guarantee the results after 6 treatments, but I don't know if the groupon would be excluded from that or not.

Laser hair removal is great. I did half legs and underarms. I'm a natural blonde and have some regrowth but much better than it used to be! I've got to save up some cash to do my bikini area. I just hate shaving so will have to quit waxing once I'm ready to do it.

I would do some research to make sure you're elligible before you buy. Some skin types are not able to do laser hair removal. Also, some conditions are excluded.

I purchased one from Living Social and found out a few days later I was pregnant. I didn't even think that pregnancy would be an excluded condition for laser facial hair removal (stupid, I know) so I went in and started filling out the forms and then found out that I couldn't do it. Anyway, in the course of filling out the forms, I noticed that there are a lot of medical conditions that could make you ineligible.... at least at the spa that I went to.

I eventually got my money back from Living Social (the voucher would have expired before I had my baby) but it took a lot of emailing back and forth.

I got 7 sessions for $149 for back in West Palm Beach. Had first session 2 weeks ago and it was not bad at all (thought it would be a bit painful but it really wasn't bad). clinic only lets you do sessions once every 2 months so it looks like this will be over a year process for me.:scared1:

You'll have to let us know (down the road) how it works out for you! All laser removal places make you wait 6-8 weeks between appointments because the hair grows in cycles. It is really quite interesting. It is a bummer, though, that it takes so long! But...I would think after two or three treatments you will be much more hair-free than before. :)

I want SO BAD to have my entire body done. LOL! I shave everything (I go completely bare "down there") daily or every other day and I hate how scratchy I get after one day. My hair grows super fast. The only thing I don't shave is my arms! Well, and my face. LOL

I had multiple treatments on upper lip and under arms. To be fair, I was warned that because my hair is light, it may not be very affective....it wasn't.
Wish it would have worked, but it just didn't. My underarms are slightly more sparse than before, but there is no difference on upper lip.

I have bought three from different places. The lasers are all different and work differently. I'm having perfect results with bikini, great results with lower legs, but crappy results with underarms. All because they each do it differently. Glad I didn't pay alot for underarms.

I did my entire body about 7 years ago when it was super expensive. Think 7K
I did eyebrows, underarms, full bikini+, full leg. It took 2 years to complete.
It was worth every penny. Although I have some regrowth, I shave every 3 months or so, It is so sparse, like just random hairs.

This and the laser eye surgery were the best money I ever spent!
