Cool, is there a source for the pricing for other levels like the ones near the boat docks and which are better than most? I don't want to get stuck behind a boat dock either lol.

The one that I posted is the premium cabana at last I checked there was only one of them. The other two are located beside each other just above the pool in the middle. It used to be the smoking/tanning area. I really liked the premium cabana because I am off the beaten path so there is not people just walking into the cabana! I did have a couple of nasty incidents though.. Some thought that the comfy chairs could be used but not paid for.. Had one person cuss me out as they were leaving to go back to THEIR resort because they thought they had a right to grab our chairs for wishes!

You can rent them or reserve them by calling 1-407-939-7529 (1-407-WDW-play)

Wow I was reading that, when I got to the part about the cussing, they were just jealous. But they do look comfy. I am about to call them right now and inquire about it. Thanks so much for the info!

I am absolutely loving this thread, especially seeing everyone's pictures. It's making me even more excited for our trip, which seems sooooo far away!

Anyway, I was wondering if you Poly pros have any advice/suggestions/tips for a first timer? It all seems so overwhelming! We'll be at Poly for a week with parkhopper tickets and we are on a dining plan. We are still trying to figure out ADRs, which I know we need to do ASAP. However, we are waiting to find out if my mother wants to join us on our trip, so we can't make our ADRs until we know how many to make the reservations for.

Anyway, it's basically my husband, myself and our 4-year old daughter and possibly my mom. I'll take as much advice as I can get.

Thank you soooo much! And keep those pictures and reviews coming. :-)

What I would suggest with your ADR's make your reservation for 3. There is no tables that hold just three. So if your mom joins in then all that much better. The only ones that you shouldn't make ADR's for until you know is the "dinner shows" they charge per person regardless..

I wish we could go back to the poly for the first time!!:worship:

Thanks, Venomhatch! Bookmarking it right now! :-)

Yeah no problem, even the cast members at the resort drop this site to potential guests wanting to stay there. Of course it's unofficial. But it is very helpful picking out ideal areas you'd like to be placed hopefully lol.

Hi All,
I have to thank everyone for this amazing thread. We are trying to get back to WDW soon and DH has asked to stay at the poly. Our budget is a bit limited so the basic room is at our max.

I am wondering if I could ask here what type of discounts are available for the poly? the time we are looking at is offering 20% off of the room but that savings is about $650 off of rack for 6 nights. It looks like we would be better off with a free dining pin (we are planning on 2adults and 2 children on either the delux or dining plus plan).

Can anyone share if they have been able to work out a better deal at the poly?

we have actually looked at buying one AP for me to get the additional % off of the resort. has anyone done this?

What are the dates you'll be there?

thank you so much for responding. We are hoping to be there from April 25-May1 of this year.

we took our first family trip two years ago, exactly the same time but I had a pin for 40% a 1BR at the beach club villas. we loved it there but the prices I am seeing now are not as much of a value so we are debating on the poly, for the monorail and access to better food.

and, I'm super annoyed at the Disney cast members who told us that the 1BR at the beach club was the same price as the 1BR at the boardwalk-when I went to book it....nope-it's not on sale :(
then a CM kept saying that the boardwalk 1BR is really 30% off then , and when I recalculated ,it's only 25%. We didn't have near the troubles calling them two years ago!

I hear ya. Have you seen this?
Would this help you: http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....romotionCode=fy12q2q3room&market=fy12q2q3room

When I go to the deluxe tab on the right window frame area. I see your dates for deluxe stays including poly and boardwalk, etc.

The price for your dates with the 30% spring discount is $2592. The price with the AP discount is $2268 - a difference of $324. An AP will cost around $550. So you have to decide if it's worth it for you, if you'll get any other use from the AP this year by way of trips or discounts.

I was able to get 40% off room only at Poly with the previous AP offer, for a stay in early March. For my stay in late March, it's only 30-35% off. So they do offer AP discounts of 40%, just not all the time.

My advise is use the link venomhatch listed, check availability and price out the resort and package you want to book then call. This is what I always do before hand so I have it in front of me just in case. I have had one CM insist the total price once was $500 more than what the website was showing me come to find out she was inputting the wrong code. All CM's are not created equal at CRO best to be prepared. Happy booking!!!

That is just so rude. I wish CMs monitored the beach area more during Wishes.

Ate a character breakfast here few years ago and it was fantastic. Beautiful resort!!

'Ohana is a must do for our family, both for dinner and breakfast!

Yes, that is what we are calculating as well. We would still have to buy tix for everyone using the spring offer though. Total package , with tix and dining plan is $4726. If we did the Annual pass, plus tix for the other three of us, dining and 30% room at the poly, it comes to $4612. It seems like a lot of work just to save the additional $100 but it opens the door to try and go back and make the annual pass worth it.;)

I was just hoping to hear that the poly sometimes gets discounted more than the 20% being offered for spring......
