Looking for raincoat/windbreaker

I'm looking for a ladies unlined or lightly lined raincoat/windbreaker type jacket. I've checked LL Bean and Lands End, but I'm not sure I'm sold on what they offer. Would also like to stay under $50. Any suggestions?

I just got a zip-up, hits at the waist, Columbia jacket (unlined, waterproof, with hood) today at Sports Authority for $29 for our upcoming trip. I am wondering if it is really necessary, but have always wanted a lightweight raincoat for warmer days here at home, so I think this will be a good option.

I'm wondering if it's the one on their website for $29 called the Switchback jacket? The reviews on this one aren't too good for actually keeping you dry in the rain, unfortunately.

I have a Coleman rainjacket/windbreaker. It came from the camping/outdoors section at Walmart for under $25. It keeps me dry unless I'm actually OUT in torrential rain for a long time.

Eddie Bauer. I get a lot of wear out of mine. It was closer to $70, but my previous one I got 12 years out of.

If you go basic with quality they can last forever!

Both my husband and I have several jackets like you mentioned from Eddie Bauer. Actually, we buy ours from Eddie Bauer Outlet (if you have an outlet in your area) and they were around $30, possibly even less. Their quality is great, and their return policy is like Nordstrom where you can return/exchange at any time if you are not satisfied.

I work for a screen printer and can get you a charles river new englander jacket if you'd like one. They are nice jackets and I sell them all the time. Lmk if I can help ya.

Try Sierra Trading Post. They have a great selection of rain coats some with Gore-tex that are really high quality for the price. It's hit or miss on the sizing as it's all close outs, but they have so many at such great discounts you can forgive them that. Most of the items have reviews that are honest and helpful. I have bought a ton of stuff from this website, especially winter gear and never been disappointed.

If you sign up for their e-mail deal flyer or like them on Facebook, you'll get great coupons which will put an additional discount a huge number of items. (to use a e-mail or facebook coupon you do have to link with the site thru the e-mail and rebate sites like mypoints or sunshine rewards won't work with coupons - they're an either or website).

we all wear Lands End raincoats here- the soft goretex(?) nylon that feels like a windbreaker but is 100% waterproof..... love them though I wish I could replace my garish color...oh well, I got it 2nd hand so can't complain:thumbsup2
I don't like rubbery raincoats at all, these are a nice coat for spring weather anyway!

I found some nice ones on the Sierra Trading Post website. There are some pretty expensive ones, but there are also others that are reasonably priced.

They don't seem to have any raincoats at Lands End right now, at least I couldn't find any on their website.

I have one from Columbia that I got at the outlet store. I went with the one that was fully waterproof and it has done a great job for me. I've worn it out hiking on a rainy day and it kept me dry and it's my go to jacket for walking the dog on a rainy day! At the outlet it was around $40, I think regularly around $80/$90.
