:rockband: 314 days till we :boat:

or

10 months and 10 days

I don't know about any one else but I am getting excited. :woohoo:

We stay at the Raddisson too. It's always been great.

Hi everyone. Just curious how far in advance do you book your airfare? What hotel do you stay in at Port Canaveral?

We are going to use points to buy our airfare and I'm worried all reward travel tickets will be taken at the same time I want the flexibility to change dates if we need to...

I too thought the article was great. After being on the 5 day Dream cruise last summer I am so so so glad that Disney decided to make some changes. I absolutely can NOT imagine 3 days at sea on an exact duplicate of the Dream outdoors wise. As someone who loves her sun :beach:
I need some room outside to just chill.....:cool1:
And since it'll be December - right in the middle of football AND hockey seasons - Darby O'Gills will be the place to be :goodvibes

Great article!

I like the way it explains the way it is different the the Dream and the reasons for it.:)

I love my sea days. It gives you time to explore the ship.

I forgot about it being in the middle of football and hockey. Yes, Darby O'Gills will be a great place to watch. :thumbsup2 I all want to try the one out that changes the back drops ( can't remember name). The 3 days will give us time to see them all.

Well, looks like we'll be joining you all. We were booked for the 12/15 Fantasy, but thanks to dh employer that isn't a 'good' time to take off. So tomorrow I'm planning on moving it to this one. We are booked with DVC points so I have to go through member services. I've got a major nursing school entrance exam in the morning so i'm not touching this until after wards, but hopefully later tomorrow it will be 'official'. I also requested to join the f/b page.

Hi Patricia...:welcome: to our group!!!! We have a great group here. It's nice to see another Delawarean!!!! Our FB name is Fantasy Cruisin' with Mickey.

Sending you lots of pixie dust :tink::tink::tink: and good luck for your nursing school entrance exam!!!

Take care...:flower3:

Welcome to all of the new additions to the group! I am sorry I have been absent from the disboards the last few months - I just finished reading and catching up though. :)

I have a suggestion for the name of our cruise group, as we are still undecided as of yet. I also posted this on our FB group page, but I figured I'd repost it here for anyone who may not have FB or may not have joined the group.

I have a thought, but it’s a little silly – it’s a play on words from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. A little back story; the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at WDW is themed after one of the actual forts in San Juan! Which is a big part of the reason I was so excited for this itinerary – and I kind of like the idea of our name incorporating the special itinerary. So… my submission is:

“We San Juan’t the Redhead!“

:welcome: to the Group. Glad they are at least letting him take a December vacation.

Good luck with your Exam. Can't say I blame you for thinking about that first.

Well it's official!!!! We are booked and joining you all. I realized I have just enough 'left over' points for a stay the night before (so we won't have to travel in the day of). Does anyone know how much the transfers are from resort to ship and ship to airport? We've always rented a car (it has been cheaper in the past) but with just the two of us, this might be cheaper.
