"There’s NO Sleeping in Disney!” SURPRISE - The Frumps Are Back Again! UPDATE 1/13

 at the Italian waiters. Your story reminded me of my trip to Italy with friends back in high school. The men there are very forward. ;)

This post is like a triple frumpin whammy! It's so big! WOOOOO :)

Omg getting stuck in Haunted Mansion is almost inevitable! For that reason I can never ride it alone. I get too scared. hahaha for real though...

Sorry you didn't really enjoy CHH. Yeah it just looks like a big plate of fries.

I'm sure you know this but Splash is back in its full glory. Not that it wouldn't be four months later but still exciting nonetheless hahah.

AW I love the Dapper Dans picture. They look so happy. Although they must have been so hot in those outfits!

MMM VIA NAPOLI. Okay, this is where I wish I had been a diser sooner because I went there in Dec. 2010 and I knew nothing of these hot Italian waiters, and we got a waitRESS and we were at a window table that was secluded to everyone else and I had my back to all the action so I never saw any attractiveness. NEXT TIME I'LL BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

Anyways... good update! I feel like you're gonna just fly through these updates to get to December hahaha!

You fell asleep! How could you?! Just kidding. With the pace you'd been keeping, no wonder you crashed at some point!

So cute that all those foreign boys were flirting with you. No wonder, you are such a beautiful girl. I really wish I had your hair!! How do you get it to look that way? My hair is either kinda half wavy or if I try to curl it then it gets REALLY curled.

Via Napoli is so delicious!

Hahaha I'm glad you understand. :p
Aww thank you! That's so nice! My hair is just naturally curly... I put this product called "Curls Rock" in it. I think the company it's by is called Catwalk. And I just scrunch it and that's it!
And yes it is!

Yay updates!!! And welcome back!!!! :hug:So excited to hear about your trip!!!
That's so funny about Sue and the necklace. Bribery might just be the key to a woman's heart?
Damn those broken birds on splash. So creepy!
Awh the dapper dans are so adorable! They just make me soooo happy.
I'm not huge on fried food either but the vegetarian chilli at CHH is reallly good! Makes me go there at least once a trip! But then again I am allergic to a million foods so my choices are kind of based on that....
Ohhh nooo a nappp!!!! The sleeping rule was broken  haha
Nothing wrong with the occasional sneaky nap... As long as you don't make a habit out of it :rotfl:
Oh my gosh, you foreign boy magnet you!! Go Jess!!
Those Disney boys just flock to you! Sorry if you already answered this, but are you still planning on doing the college program?
The phone number hand off doesnt offen work but it's a huge compliment all the same. But you said it all in the title.
Have you been to Italy? The men there can be a bit overly friendly haha
Wha? Dancing again? And napping all in one day? Such a Disney rebel! ::sad2:

Thank you! I'm excited to share!
LOL don't worry.. we didn't make a habit out of our napping! I mean, if we stayed any longer that could have happened. But we left right on time LOL
Hahaha oh Disney boys. Love them.
And I am definitely doing the CP! But I don't think until my junior year unfortunately :( I can't even explain how much I want to go sooner but I just don't think the timing is going to work. I really hope it actually works junior year. I NEED to go.
And no I haven't been to Italy! But that's what I've heard!
We are crazy frumps, what can I say?

Haha! I love all the waiters in the Tutto Italia. Last time we were there, we met the sweetest elderly man who had been there for 40 years

He met his wife on a Disney Cruise that he went on as a CM (so cute!)

As we were leaving, a (very good looking) waiter called "Ciao" to my mother, and then I swear his voice dropped down a whole octave and he said "mmm, and Ciao Bell-la" to me while raising one eyebrow. My mom grabbed me by the arm and dragged me outta there FAST! :rotfl:

HAHAHA that is a fantastic story. Thank you for sharing that. Those waiters just crack me up!

Ok caught up again. So enjoy reading your TR. You have such a good writing style too. I have started a pretrip report and well not sure if it's even close to yours.lol I just have no clue how to add links to the next post on the front page or to have continue be a link. If you would be so kind to PM and try to explain to me?
So we have been wanting to do Disney again in Dec 2012 for some time. Now my DH may have a new job with is awesome but that puts my trip further out. Maybe late Jan? Oh well at least will still go right?
I so want to dance in the streets with my grandkids (time of trip Tristen will be 4yrs and Khloe will be 20m. I want to realize they are lucky to have young grandparents who can have a fun time with them. We can be goofs.
Now I wish I was on twiter. Never done it. I am a FB girl though.
Can't wait to read the last of this trip and see the new one from the beginning. What's the clever title going to be?hmmm

Hooray! Thanks for reading! And aww thanks! That's so nice!
Wherever you want to link something, type it out, highlight it, and then press the little globe button (that's under the white smiley face). Paste the link in the window that pops up. Press okay, and it's linked!
You can go back and edit posts wherever you want to link it! It's pretty easy! Let me know if you need more help.
Aww I'm sorry the trip might be pushed back, but that's okay! As long as you go it's all good!
You are so lucky that you'll get to spend time with your grandkids like that! AHH how much fun!
Twitter is the best!
Thank you! And LOL I'm not quite sure yet... we will see!

Haha that's understandable, just since you were there for so long and had so many awesome things happening. And oh my goodness, can you imagine the DIS when everyone is doing their July trip reports? One trip from so many different perspectives. I think I've lost track of how many people are going (or hoping) to be down there.

Yeah that's going to be insane! LOL It'll be fun to read them all!

We got stuck in the same exact spot on Haunted Mansion! Except, ours took about 5-6 minutes. I think they might have been loading a wheelchair? I'm not sure, but it felt like foreverrrr sitting in the dark.

Do you like tuna? The tuna sandwich at CHH is pretty good! I didn't know they added salmon now. That's pretty neat.

Haha, the picture of you & Kristen sleeping on Splash is cute! :)

And sleeping in Disney?! Oh, the horror! :scared1::rotfl:

VIA NAPOLI IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF MY FAVORITES <3 <3 <3

Yeah that could have been it! Oh HM. How I love it.
I actually don't like tuna, and that's why I felt so limited at CHH. Because if I liked it I would have gotten the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich or whatever it's called.
Oh thanks LOL we were tired.
ME TOO!

 at the Italian waiters. Your story reminded me of my trip to Italy with friends back in high school. The men there are very forward. ;)

Hahahaha you've got that right!

Anyways... good update! I feel like you're gonna just fly through these updates to get to December hahaha!

LOL Basically. I had less pictures on this day, so I could write a lot more in one post! Plus I want to get started on that Christmas one!
Haha yeah I get scared if I'm alone in the HM too!
Yup I just went on it 3 days ago! It was all working except the blue bird at the end wasn't talking LOL
Oh yeah they were dyin. The one in the green kept on making comments about how hot it was haha
Oh no! I'm sorry you missed out on a legit Via Napoli experience. Don't worry - the first time I went there I got a waitress too. I was not happy. Getting a waitress in a WS restaurant is the biggest letdown ever.
And haha you may be right about that!

Yay, another frumptastic update! :yay: It's the best way for me to stay entertained on my overnight shifts when the kiddos are sleeping.

Love the sleeping pic on Splash. Always a classic move. Now all you need to do is have one of you dressed as Snow White and another as Sleeping Beauty and do the asleep pose on all the rides. The two sleeping princesses waiting for the princes to wake them up.

Um, go Jess with your foreign boy magnetism! :thumbsup2 I think it's most boys in the World that are pretty friendly, not just the CMs. I remember when I went to Epcot with my friend, we encountered many a friendly gentleman. Once we asked some guys to take our pic (because really, we needed lot's of coordinated outfit pics, I mean, who doesn't) and then they asked to take a pic with us. :confused3

So excited to hear more stories and then your Dec. TR!

Loving all these updates. I know you are anxious to get to your Christmas TR. So am I. I can't wait to try Via Napoli. The water boy IS very cute. I don't blame you for not calling Marco. So many crazies out there. Smart girl :thumbsup2.

Yall amaze me. I can't belive that you all made it that long before crashing. I am hoping to have that much "get up and go" as you do. Gotta make the most of it.

I'm so glad I could be of entertainment :goodvibes haha
LOL that's fantastic. Kristen and I could use some Disney princes so maybe we should try that little idea out
Oh thanks hahaha. They really are! That's SUCH a funny story haha they thought you were pretty :p
Thank you! I'm glad you'll be here to follow along!

Haha yeah sorry about the cram updating... but I am READY! This Christmas one is going to take me forever, so I figure as long as I am on winter break for a little while longer, I should try and get a move on!

Via Napoli is great!! And yeah it was nice to just avoid that whole awkward situation. :rotfl:

LOL I wish you the best. Because if I'm with my family in Disney and not Kristen/friends... I have less motivation to get moving. :lmao: But I still feel like I get a lot out of it... and then I feel better because I'm rested. Either way you'll be doing a lot!

Yay!! 2 new updates to read. Welcome back! :goodvibes I'm so glad your Christmas vacation was a success. I really need to watch Princess and the Frog. Not that I have anything against new princesses, I just have never gotten around to it. Loved Tangled though. I'm sorry Columbia Harbor House was disappointing. I was looking forward to trying that. DO they have anything besides fried food? Via Napoli looks soo yum, food and waiters. :rotfl2: I'll have to sneak a couple peeks at the waiters while my husband isn't looking. That is sooo funny that the waiter gave you his number. I would have totally called him, but then again I was a crazy teenager:rotfl2:. Can't wait to read more -Amanda

We used to go major commando and then eventually everyone would be tired and someone would get crabby so we try to have a waterpark or resort/relax day mid trip now. princess:

I LOVE getting pixie dusted! I have never heard of that wake up tinkerbell thing! Is that in a store? That sounds precious haha

They used to do this adorable thing at Tinkerbell's Treasures (which is now Castle Couture) where if you got to the store first, you could ask to wake up Tinkerbell. Actually, I'm pretty sure your child had to ask. You know how in Peter Pan, Tinkerbell gets stuck in that little drawer with the keyhole? They had that in there, and they would give the child a magic wand and tell them to tap on it and say "Wake up, Tinkerbell!" and then you would hear that magical pixie sound and the cupboard would shake and then they had a special effect where it looked like Tink flew out and flew through the air in the store. And sometimes you could look in the keyhole and see Tinkerbell in there, too. They also would show kids Tinkerbell's hiding places throughout the store and give a certificate that said you woke up Tink. I think they still do it from time to time, but not every morning. It used to be that people would rush and fight over it so I think they just do it randomly now, they may come up to a family and ask if they want to see Tink. I've heard that variations of it happen at Castle Couture and also Sir Mickey's.

The frumpiest ride in the wilderness! :rotfl:

The surprise fastpass thing is so awesome! GIMME SOME SURPRISE FASTPASSES, DISNEY!

I ALWAYS have that moment on one of the last days of a Disney trip where if I don't go back to the room and crash I know I will die. And then I feel AMAZING once I get up and always have the best evening! Sometimes, there IS sleeping in Disney! haha

WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU GOT A NUMBER! How fun, though I wouldn't call it either. I'm old fashioned! HE has to call me. Ahem. A princess should be courted in my opinion. princess:

Good thing you got those Maelstrom fastpasses! Usually, they run out of them at like 11:30 AM so you were very lucky to get them when you did!

Yes when you get the chance you definitely have to! It's such a great movie!
CHH has a good tuna sandwich... it's called like the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich. And then they have the salmon now. I'm sure you could find something!
AHH I love Via Napoli! Hahaha enjoy ;) LOL I was thinking... he probably does that a lot. I wonder how many girls actually call him. :rotfl: Oh Marco.
Thanks for reading!

You fell asleep in Disney?!
12899967.jpg

Props for the Pirate Goofy and Tiana photos, two of my favorites. They need to get Louis out in the parks regularly! He's been seen at special events, but Disney needs to make it an everyday thing so I can go visit my favorite The Princess and the Frog character next trip.

And thou haven't seeneth Up yet? Alack, ye must correct this unfortunate situation forthwith.

(Seriously, AMAZING movie...simultaneously hilarious, heartwarming, and tear-jerking.)

By the way, welcome back! I hope you had a very Merry Frump-mas in Disney, and I'm looking forward to reading about that trip as well.

hahaha I'M SORRY! Ahh where do you find all of these pictures? They crack me up.
I LOVE LOUIS OMG. I wish he came out for meet and greets, too!
No I haven't! Isn't that terrible? I need to watch it soon, and I will let you know how I like it!
And thank you! I definitely did! I can't wait to write that trip report! (Good thing I just started it lol ;) )

We used to go major commando and then eventually everyone would be tired and someone would get crabby so we try to have a waterpark or resort/relax day mid trip now. princess:

Yeah that's how it goes! Usually when I have more time I do that. But if I'm with friends and we are only staying for a few nights, we go a little insanely commando. :p

Good thing you got those Maelstrom fastpasses! Usually, they run out of them at like 11:30 AM so you were very lucky to get them when you did!

Oh my gosh that's like REALLY cute. In July we should ask if we could see Tinkerbell. How could the CM's deny us adorable, disney loving, young ladies? But seriously, the children get to do all of the fun stuff. I wish I would have been able to do participate in these kinds of activities... that just sounds precious!

Yeah that's EXACTLY how we felt. I just couldn't keep going. I don't think I've ever been that tired before. DRIVEN TO EXHAUSTION. But it's okay, we did have a fun night!

Hahaha WOOOHOOO! Yeah I'm the same way. BOYS, YOU COME TO ME. :rotfl: Old fashioned is the way to be. :peace:

And dang, that Maelstrom Mad Dash every morning tires me out every time. It was a MIRACLE that we got those fastpasses. Best ride EVER.

Along with all the rest of 'em!

I agree with you getting SOME rest at Disney!! My hubs and I NEED it... it sucks though b/c you look forward to the trip and you don't want to think about missing anything!! I always feel better after I do though lol ;)

Oh my gosh thank you for reading!! :) I'm so glad you have been enjoying yourself! That's so great to hear!
And I totally agree about that! I HATE being crabby in Disney so I was glad I could get some sleep.
Aww thank you! :goodvibes That's so nice haha. And YEAH seriously though. Kristen and I always joke about how we need to move down to Florida because Disney boys like us better. :rotfl:
I have a Nikon D3100! And I also use iPhoto to make them look even better ;) Disney photography is probably my favorite thing ever LOL.
I started it! The link is in my signature! Thank you for being here!! I hope you continue to enjoy the stories!

I love the last picture! Its so pretty:goodvibes

Sounds like you had an interesting dinner that night:laughing: Im going to Italy in April and well....I guess I hope the men are like that:laughing:;)

I won't lie, I probably would have called the number haha I just think its cute when a guy does that.

Thank you!
We definitely did :rotfl: And oh goodness I'm sure they will be! Italian boys just don't seem to change.
And yeah it would have been funny to see what he would have said. But I had Disney to get to!

My twitter name has my last name on it so I don't want to post it on here for obvious reasons so if you want I could either PM you or I was talking to Kristin before so I should just be on her timeline under a conversation with Victoria.

Anywho, great update! :thumbsup2

WOOT Haunted Mansion! Sorry you didn't get to go on the Aladdin Magic Carpets, but we all know the humble abode of the 999 Happy Haunts. That must've been interesting though being stopped by the opera singer lol

Mmmmm... CHH looks really good! I'm a huge fan of chicken fingers for some odd reason. It isn't a gourmet thing, but they are always enjoyable, the reason why I LOVE Golden Oak Outpost (you need to check that place out too, it's in MK) Though I think you may be right about the Apple Crisp... a bit strange looking but you seemed to think it was tasty :thumbsup2 And that's awesome you ate on the second floor, that CS is just that much better when people talk about its second floor, though I guess Casey's will go first (bad experience at Pecos Bill's :P)

Sorry to hear you couldn't get Sue on Splash. LOL @ the only way you could get her on, imagine if you ended up buying that for her, I would love to see how she liked Splash ::yes:: I can't believe how Disney didn't go in to fix all the kinks. Frumpiest ride in the wilderness... so very very true... :rotfl: As always, great ride photo! :thumbsup2

Ooooo... Peter Pan! That baby must've been adorable, but so distracting. If only I went to Disney that young... *sigh* :cloud9: And you must've been really tired to have fallen asleep during Kristen's... uhhh... I mean... Mickey's PhilharMagic ;) Well, maybe while you were asleep it became Kristen's FrumpharMagic lol :thumbsup2 to the Dapper Dans, after seeing your video from the Bathrobe Princess report, I've really wanted to see them, they sound so good and seem quite entertaining :)

Glad to see you got back to the hotel room, but what is this I heard? SLEEPING! Don't tell me this was Kristen too. This is blasphemous! I'm just... stunned. I'm not going to let any of you live this down, ANY OF YOU! ... Okay maybe I'm overreacting, but still not. Okay. At least it was only for 1 hour and a half. :thumbsup2 to Kristen's pins, I may have to trade you for that Nana pin :-)love: Nana)

How did I not see this coming? Via Napoli... again... At this point, I'm pretty sure you just don't make those ADRs for food but just to get a taste of eye candy :rolleyes1 Even though some of that food does look good. LOVE Pistachio Ice Cream :goodvibes Mmmm... And the meat-a-balls too YUM! LOL @ the waiter giving you your number. These foreign guys were really hitting on you and David truly was hitting on you. If you watch the video, the guy next to him is talking to him and he is just staring at you lol So French and Italian boys like you haha Or one's named Marco and David (aka Francois) And good in Italian is more like 'Buen' I don't know what very is though. The only phrases I know in Italian are scornful ones from my grandfather and great aunt, so that's the extent of my Italian knowledge :confused3 Anyways... glad you enjoyed Via Napoli again! :teeth:

I think Kringla Olga is more like the happiest place on Earth within the Most Magical Place on Earth lol Or the Place where Dreams Come True inside the place where dreams come true haha I'M ON A ROLL! ... I really need to test out my deer face one of these days just because I see it all the time. :-)

Wow... just wow! Apparently the world is hitting on Jess! So we have France, Italy and Mexico... where does it end?! lol But you couldn't help but be flattered, could you? Prince Charming is on its way, Jess, I assure you (well based on this haha) But bad girl for breaking the rules... "No dancing on the ride..." :sad2: You rebellious children lol Love the picture of you guys with the pinata Donald Duck and your sombreros! Y'all are so photogenic, seriously.

Can't wait to read about where you go next! :mickeyjum

P.S. I'm sorry I'm leaving you uber long comments, I'm in an extremely wordy mood and I'm already a wordy person so... oh there I go again... I'll just stop now lol

Yeah Kristen and l got them around the beginning of the school year! I tweeted throughout my entire trip which was very fun. I got the idea from Lia, actually! It was a great time. I will try and incorporate those in the next trip report!

Well, if either of you ever want to follow me, mine's @KIPKnighted. My avatar and my page background are actually full of Disney pictures I've taken, so it's a nice sight for sore eyes :goodvibes

TSM is the ride of my LIFE!!! I love that crayon too! And lol oh did you do that picture too? haha it's a clever idea

Yup, it's a bit different and it wasn't of me, it was of a friend (but I do rock the TSM 3D glasses), but same idea. Look and you'll know what I mean:

158.jpg

And check out the creepy woman in the background *shivers* I'm sure she is out to get us. :scared:

Oh and here's me totally owning the 3D Glasses look-

159-1.jpg

It was actually my Facebook profile pic (Look it's the lady again! AAAAHHH!!)

I've never not been stopped on the Haunted Mansion. It's a running joke in our family at this point.

I love that you guys pose on Splash Mountain. I just cry.

Aw, I don't blame you for taking a nap. I need at least an hour of quiet, air-conditioned nap time each day to survive the summer heat. I would be a crabby mess without it.

I can't wait to try Via Napoli! It's one of my family's 3 Must-Dines for July along with 'Ohana (DUH) and Sci-Fi.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Oh, Marco. You should have written 'Polo' with a fake number and sent it back to him.

Good thing you got those Maelstrom Fastpasses. I bet the ride was SWAMPED. :rotfl:
