Differences between regular room and presidential room at Wyndham Bonnet Creek?

What are the differences between a regular 2 bedroom and a presidential 2 bedroom? Also, Is a 4 bedroom presidential better than getting 2 two bedroom presidentials for our large group? If so, why? I was thinking the two 2 bedrooms might be better because that would give us an extra washer/dryer. Thanks.

The primary difference between the 2 BR's is in the size of the villa. 2 BR deluxes range from 1180-1257 sq ft; 2 BR Presidentials are 1250 sq ft.

The occupancy of the 2 BR deluxe is 8/6 and the info says the sleeping arrangements "vary." I believe that means some have K,Q and others have K, 2 DB.

The unit information on the 2 BR Presidential says it only sleeps 4, but looking at the floor plan, that appears to be an error. The info says K,Q, but the floor plan shows K, 2 BR with a sofa bed, which would be 8.

The furnishings in the Presidential units are also considerably upgraded. If you look at the Bonnet Creek photo thread, you may be able to see differences.

The occupancy of the 4 BR Presidential is 12, and two 2 BRs would hold a max of 16, so that may be a consideration depending on the size and makeup of your group.

Personally, I wouldn't max the occupancy on any timeshare unit. 8 people may fit okay into 4 beds, but they're not going to fit so well into two bathrooms!

You might want to call the resort directly with any questions. Their number is 407-238-3500.

We are a party of 9 in all (6 adults and 3 kids) so won't be overcrowded in either two 2 bedrooms or one 4 bedroom, thanks!

Anyone else have comparison info between the presidential and regular units? Particularly looking for thoughts from those who have stayed in both.

I've stayed in both and for a 2BR would not pay the difference for a presidential. I only stay presidential if nothing else is available or I book it with a free upgrade (VIP Plat member). I would however splurge for the 4BR presidential ( this is the only type of 4BR available at BC). The layout of the room and the spacious living room and balcony make this one worth it for a large group. The 4BR do have a regular size w/d whereas the other units have the stacked smaller ones.

I believe the sofas on the presidentials don't pull out. If you look at the pics, that makes sense because of their design. So a pres would sleep less. However, they look really nice inside. We are gonna be in a 4 bedroom pres next month. You Tube it and you can see a walk through.

Thanks.

Are the presidentials located in only some buildings (and if so, which ones) or spread throughout all the buildings?

BC has always had 4BR Presidentials and these units are spread throughout the resort. All of the 1,2,3 BR presidentials are newer and in Bldg 6.

Also as previously mentioned the sofas in the presidentials are not pull-outs and therefore the presidentials sleep 2 fewer people than the deluxes (6 vs. 8).

Thanks, so that means if I book a 2 bedroom presidential I am guaranteed to be in bldg 6 (newest bldg)?
