I'm assuming the bus goes Wyndham-MK-Epcot-MK-Wyndham, and it goes from Tower 6 to Tower 1 so if you are going from Tower 1 to Magic Kingdom it's a pretty fast journey, less so from Epcot to Tower 6. Also I guess the bus stops at Animal Kingdom then Hollywood Studios.

We have a car and we will not use the bus for AK or HS, but maybe we will try it for MK tomorrow to save $14.

Note you will need a taxi for Universal/SeaWorld, or to go shopping other than DTD.

I'd say yes. But that's based on our experience last April/May (sort-of a non-peak time). I'd suggest lining up at the resort at least 15-20 minutes early before the scheduled departure to the park in order to assure you make it on that bus. Our first day, we went to catch the shuttle about 10 minutes prior to the departure and there was such a long line waiting for it that we barely made it on. We never had a problem with the returning shuttles, except for 2 times we decided not to wait for them and we took a tab ($10-$20 cab fee). There are not many return shuttles from the parks in the middle of the afternoon, and our kids were tired so we just took a cab.

How much $ do you usually tip the shuttle drivers? I remember in 2001 we stayed at a different timeshare and there was a lot of pressure to tip. That is the only time I have stayed in a timeshare in Orlando where I have used a shuttle. I had not realized before that point that you would need to tip when using a "free" shuttle. Do you tip per family or per person? TIA!

Can we get away with not renting a car and just using a shuttle at Bonnet Creek?

Thanks!
While you could, don't forget to add in the cost of transportation to and from the airport, plus a few cab fares if you don't want to take the shuttle.

The ability to go offsite to eat and get groceries can also pay for a rental.

We didn't see anyone tip the shuttle drivers at Wyndham Bonnet Creek.
