Has anyone gone to the new Lego theme park? Thinking of going when we go down in January.

thanks

Cheryl

We have annual passes. The adults don't have as much to do there, they have I think 4 rollercoasters. You can go on most of the rides but overall it is aimed at the children. That being said I totally enjoy how much my 7 y.o. likes it. The food is also cheaper then disney.

My adult (mid-30's) son and his wife went last Sunday. They were somewhat disappointed in what they had for adults. He also said it appeared that they were in a "beta" or "soft launch" mode and didn't have their act together in terms of crowd flow, employees, etc.

We are thinking about going down in June. Does anyone know of any promotions to get discounted tickets? The one day pass seems high.

thanks for the info. Our sons are 6/10 and I know on the website it seems like it is aimed at them. But, our thought is for the amount of money it costs to get in, should we just stay at Disney and do the parks with the passes we have.

We will see!

Thanks again

Cheryl

We went to LegoLand in San Diego and it was nice for the kids (4 and 9 at the time). Looking at the Florida LegoLand map, it looks identical in terms of layout.

The park is aimed at kids up to 12. That might be pushing it from what I've read. We're going over the holiday break with a 6 and almost 10 year old. There are some reviews online as well. I also read that they are not set up for long lines, so we are hoping it won't be too busy!

Only worth it (questionable) if you have very small kids. My 13 year old DS didn't care for it. The 6 year old liked it. It isn't worth it, in my opinion, for $75/day. We used the Pepsi promo code for free kids tickets.
Couldn't imagine wanting to go back again.
