Bought into DVC today! (11/28/11)

SOOO excited about joing DVC today!!! (Direct @ SSR) Still have to wait for all the paper work ect, but we already have our first DVC trip scheduled to stay at AKV @ Jambo House in late January. Can't wait!
I grew up in Central Florida and had annual passes to WDW most of my childhood, but my kids (5,3,1) have never been, now that we are in Texas. So I can't wait for them to have the experience, and looking forward to staying on site for the first time as well. We will be staying at the same time as my brother and his family (who we only see every few years, but now both as DVC members hope to change that).

Anyway, just had to shout it about to somebody! =)

congrats and welcome home!! SSR is a beautiful resort. We stay there when we go down in april. It is a really relaxing resort. Enjoy!! AKV is great also!

Congrats! What did you pay through Disney? Just curious. Did you consider resale?

Disney is selling SSR for $99 a point right now. We did consider resale, (it was a tough decision) but decided to get our foot in the door direct, and have all benefits and options available with our first batch of points. I anticipate adding on in the next couple years and intend to do that through resale.
