AAHHHH, HHI how i love thee...

Well, we just got home a little while ago from our first trip to HHI. This was a last minute trip and we only went for the weekend. We have been trying out several resorts since we bought in 2009. I do believe that this has quickly moved up to one of our favorites.

My family tried to fish but didn't catch anything, rode bikes on the beach, went on the beach nature walk with Sandy. My youngest son and I hit the Big dipper pool and slide and really enjoyed it. The weather was great while we were there. high 60's to low 70's. The ocean water was too cold for me and my DH but the boys played the ocean a little.

We ate at Kingfisher and fuddruckers for dinner. We will try other's that we have seen on here this summer.

Loved the decor of the resort and it was decorated for christmas and loved it all. Hopefully, i can figure out how to post pics from my phone or get them from my DH's camera and show some of our pics. We were 2621 2BR and very happy with the room. Ejector couch wasn't too bad. The best is that my DH loves the place!

Nice review! Thanks! We too are thinking of adding on points at HHI. We went in the summer of 2009. We ate at Kingfisher too. Was it busy there or do you think there was availability? Thanks and can't wait to see your pics!

We love it too. So many great things about that resort and the island. So many trips to take, so little time, (and money).

We purchased DVC because of the HH resort. That was in 2000 and we still love it.

I think you must have been checking in when we were checking out. I agree completely with the title of your thread.
My DH, like yours, loves the place. He even admitted that he prefers it by far to WDW.

That's exactly how my DH feels. He would much rather be at HHI than at WDW! I love them both but for different reasons.

DH and I stayed at HHI for the first time last summer and loved it! We want to go back and take the kids. Last Wednesday we attended a Graduation ceremony at Parris Island and decided to run over to HHI to visit the resort and show the kids around. It was great! The kids loved it and can't wait to go, the decorations were beautiful and the weather was perfect. Glad you all had such a great time, wish we could have stayed longer. Next time...
