Aw, too bad about the frozen cosmo. It was REALLY good...but I totally understand headaches so I get why you didn't drink it.
I can't WAIT to hear how it was for you at MK that night. I just posted in my TR about that night! Curious to see how yours compares.
I was so upset I couldn't drink that slush! I had one the year before and I've wanted one again ever since! I never even bothered trying to get one again the rest of the week, either!
I can't believe your experience the night of the 40th at the fireworks! My night was nothing like that!
at Brandon realising taking the boat from DHS to Epcot would take forever. We took a boat from DHS to Yacht Club and it did take quite a long time!
That is a wierd place to have a man stand to talk about cranberries - it sure looks like he could use a drink though you are probably right about it being frowned upon
Love the pics of France and you have to try the bakery - I got a Napoleon from there and it was absolutely amazing
I'm sorry to read that your headache was returning The stuffed moose heads look pretty - I never visited the shop in Canada but will have to do that on a future visit.
I'm glad you kept your Le Cellier ADR and at ordering the cheese soup again!
Yeah, I've heard the boat from DHS to Epcot or the resorts takes a while...I just really want to do it at least once!
I really need to try something from the bakery in France someday. The Main Street Bakery also!
It wasn't a bad headache, like the first night, it was just there, more annoying than anything, I just didn't want to risk it turning into something else!
Mmm, I love Le Cellier! I keep checking to see if an ADR will open up for our December trip, but nothing so far!
I'm sorry to hear about Brandon's injury, but how fun to get an extra day in Disney!!
That stinks about not being able to drink the squishee! Your meal at Le Cellier sounds great though!
LOL, I know, I feel bad that he's so hurt, but it kind of works out!
Haha, squishee! They make those look so good on the Simpsons, they seem like they are so thick!
Le Cellier was fantastic, as always!
Thats exactly how our cosmo slush was...half melted two seconds after we got it
sorry to hear that you had a headache and couldn't enjoy it though
I LOVED Le Cellier...the steaks we had were so good and we would visit again just for the soup and pretzel bread
It was so hot, those poor slushes didn't stand a chance!
I was upset that I couldn't drink it, but I'd rather not have a headache!
Isn't that soup the best? I wish you could get it to go!
I agree, that is an odd place to stick a man with a bunch of cranberries!
It did look pretty interesting, though.
I think you made a good choice about not drinking the slushie. To me, alcohol = headache, so drinking on top of one doesn't sound like a good idea! Glad you had a good lunch Le Cellier!
Haha, I felt so bad for those cranberry guys! I hope they got to enjoy the Food and Wine festival a little when they weren't educating people about cranberries!
Yeah, I have to be kind of careful about when I drink alcohol...if there is any chance of me getting a headache, I don't even bother.
I'm sure there wasn't much alcohol in that slush, but I didn't want to take the chance!
Oh Jen - those stinkin' headaches. I get them a lot, so I completely understand. For some reason the Excedrin migraine works really well for me. I do think my headaches come from my neck.
You lunch looks so yummy. I love a good Le Cellier lunch, but I hear ya on being stuffed. I am going to try to make an ADR there for my Brother and SIL for our June trip. I think I will be in Disney then, so I need to remember to do it there.
You got some beautiful pictures.
Brandon chugging a slush - Oh My!
I like Excedrin Migraine, but it only works if I take it right at the beginning of a migraine. The headache this day was from the RnRC, so it wasn't too bad, I think I took some Advil and by the time I woke up from my nap at WL it was gone! I don't know where mine come from...it's annoying! I'm sure one huge reason is because I never wear my glasses.
I don't really like eating at Le Cellier in the middle of the day, it's so filling, but I like the lunch menu way better than that new signature menu. I need those cream cheese mashed potatoes!
Hope you get your ADR's!
Haha, yeah, all because he didn't want to carry around that cup!
