"One More Waffle!" An October 2011 TR! *Update 4/24, pg 70-The End!*

Ughhh, I can't find any Disney window clings yet! I found some gel ones at Walmart, so I bought package, but that's not enough...and I want to make a sign of some type! I need to find suction cups! I think I'm going to go on a mission later tonight to try to find them!

I will know a lot more about my plans after this Tuesday, so maybe once I finalize everything, we can set up a time to meet, it all depends on how my DH's orthopedic appt. goes! I know that sounds cryptic, but I'll let you guys know more on Tuesday!

LOL! I was just looking through all my window decorations for what to bring and I was trying to decide whether or not to bring the suction cups I bought last year. I also have way too many Disney window clings for Christmas. Let me know if you found everything you were looking for. Otherwise I'll send you a photo of what I'm bringing in case you want to meet up to pick something up for your decorations.

Also, I noticed you said something on Joyce's PTR about a time in April - May you are going. That's the same weekend I'm trying to arrange a trip!

I think I'd be half surprised and half scared if I actually saw an Ewok peeking from those trees! Haha, I think it'd be cool though; they should totally do it one of these days and surprise people!

Just caught up on the last update. Sure was a morning of firsts! The carrot cake cookie, the umbrella, the drawing class, the new Star Tours...plus all the old favorites, of course! For RnRC, I usually feel like my head is rattled around a lot too, but we ended up in the very front seat one of our rides last trip and we both felt like it was way smoother and more enjoyable up there. Great Jiminy Cricket drawing too!

I know, I can't believe we actually did so many new things! It was such a fun morning!

We always wait for the front seat in RnRC...it makes no difference where I sit, it's all about how I position myself, and I don't know the right way to do it! Sometimes I'm fine, other times I'm in horrible pain!

Thanks, I love the animation class, now that I realize I don't have to be afraid of it!

OMG thanks, that's so nice! I actually finally found suction cups for my lights AND some Disney gel window clings! I just need a few more things and I'm set! I can't wait to decorate my window!

Haha, I can't believe you might go in May when I'm going! We don't actually have that trip booked yet, those dates are tentative, but I'm like 80% sure that's when we will go. Unless I go insane and decide to do the Everest 5K thing, which is the next weekend! I really want to be there for our anniversary, but at the same time, I really want to do a Disney 5K next year!

I really kind of wish Ewoks were real. I love them so much, I think they are so cute! They're like little bears! One of my friends goes to comic cons all the time and she says people dress up like Ewoks there, so I always tell her to kidnap one for me!

I do love the Halloween Party, but I think I like the Christmas Party a little more! Just because I am obsessed with Christmas. I love Halloween, but not like I love Christmas!

News!!​

Hi everyone!

Can you believe I'll be in WDW again in only 18 DAYS!!!! It's crazy!

Anyway, I'm sure I've mentioned that Brandon has been out of work for a couple of months with an injury from work, right? Well he got an MRI on his foot and got the results today, and he's pretty injured! While it's terrible that he's hurt and can't go back to work for at least another month, and has to start physical therapy...

He doesn't have to work for a month! So what does that mean? Extra day at Disney, of course! Now we don't have to worry about taking the first flight home and hoping he makes it work by 2:30 that same day! We're coming home Wednesday, on a nice afternoon flight! We can sleep that day, maybe go in the pool, have breakfast, possibly go to a park or DTD for a little while, whatever! I'm so excited!!!

This also means...we can check luggage! Originally, we were only going to do carry on, since we wanted to get off the plane and get out of the airport asap, but now, it doesn't matter! That means I can overpack all I want AND bring lots of window decorations for my window at Pop! I got suction cups to hang on the window with my lights and a few Disney window clings...I think it's going to be really cute!

Yep, we're still staying at Pop! I admit, I was tempted to switch to POR...have you seen the refurb mansion rooms? They are beautiful! But I still don't want to spend almost $300 more to upgrade for a short trip like this!

Now that we have an extra day, it also means that we can:

Go to Animal Kingdom and maybe even see the Christmas parade there! We were going to skip AK, but now, I figure we'll go one morning!

See the resorts all decorated for Christmas! I love doing this, I'm not sure what day we will do this, but I at least want to check out the monorail loop!

And finally...

Go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I'm still not thrilled about paying so much to go to this party, but honestly, I can't miss it! I love the parade, I love the fireworks...I love everything about it!

I'm having a tough time planing our days now that there is another day involved...the first night we are there, Saturday, MK is open now until 1am! Originally it was open until 10, so we were going to start our trip there, eat at Tony's and then see Wishes, but now that it's open so late, I'm thinking I might want to do Epcot first and then hop over to MK when Epcot closes. But if we do that, I have to cancel Tony's. I'm also considering starting our trip at AK...which we have NEVER done, and then hopping to MK, which if we do that, we can keep our Tony's ADR.

I also don't know if I should make more ADR's or just do mostly CS this trip. We're going again in May, so we can do our favorites on that trip, I don't think we really need to spend all this time eating on such a short trip. But then again, I like eating at the restaurants! So I'm not sure. Maybe we will just wing it and if we want to go somewhere, we'll walk up and see what happens! I'm thinking of getting the Tables in Wonderland card and if I do, I feel like I should eat at more TS restaurants to take advantage of it!

Well that's it for now! I will probably do one more mini PTR update for this trip before we go, if I finally decide what parks we want to do on what days! Once I get a basic itinerary for each day, I will post it here! Whenever that actually happens!

Good for you and an extra day! Not so good about the injured foot and needing PT, hope he's better soon. I just finished over 8 weeks of PT after a broken wrist and it wasn't fun

Yay for the extra time!!!!

I've been itching to go see the AK parade but due to my unforeseen sinus infection a few days before I went home, it didn't happen! I'm hoping by next weekend I'll get the time to go!!

I think your AK plans and then MK would work great! Would you get to AK in time to see the parade at 3:45?? If you miss it, it does start and end in Africa so you could see it twice in that location (a good tip there!!!)

That is great news Jen, but I still think you should stay till Thursday so I could meet you and Brandon. I, unfortunately, have to wait until Wednesday night to leave because we are flying out of BWI. We are trying to have Nick get in a full day of school on Wednesday. So tempting to fly out earlier from PHL but all the flight times STINK!

Ooooooh! An extra day in Disney, sounds perfect. You get to go to the Christmas party AND some of the other things you didn't think you'd have time to do on this trip, that's awesome! Can't wait to hear everything you've got planned.

Sorry to hear about Brandons injury and being out of work for a while, but you cant be mad about an extra day at WDW!!!! I cant believe you are going so soon!!! POP is the perfect place for a shorter trip, heck we stay there for all trips!!

I completely understand your dilemma with eating though. I feel the same way about our upcoming March trip AND our November trip. I almost don't want to spend a lot of time sitting and eating when we could use that time to explore more of the parks! It's a tough one!

I just found your TR & loving it so far! And how great that you will be back in just a few days. Not that your DH having an injury is a great thing, but at least you get more Disney time & won't be rushed coming back. We are planning on one of those quick trips in the beginning of February, and that is what I look forward to least - rushing home & back to work!

What a beautiful view to wake up to each morning! I love hanging out on the balcony, too, although I usually do it in the afternoons. I can never get myself up early enough to spend any time doing it in the morning.

Mmm, once again I am dying to try that carrot cake cookie! I don't even like carrot cake, but it looks so good. Cute "singing in the rain" picture! I have yet to even notice the umbrella while I'm there!

So sorry to hear about Brandon's foot, but yay for an extra day at Disney! I can't believe you'll be there in less than 20 days!

Diane, I got lots of Disney Christmas window clings at Walgreens and Meijer's. I don't remember if Target had them or not.
