can you believe its only a week away ......

make french toast for breakfast and watch Macy's parade

we will be having dinner at my mom's with my two DB and their families - looking over excursions for our HI cruise since we will all be together

older DB and family will spend that night with us

bribe DB with a BIG breakfast the next morning so he'll help be bring up all our decorations from the garage and up the two flights of stairs

decorate house - wrap gifts

Saturday taking Megan to see the Cinderella musical downtown - will have dinner out somewhere after the show and enjoy the decorations downtown

I love Thanksgiving as it is just the 5 of us at home... we don't even answer the phones unless it's Grams in Florida!!!!

I will cook our meal and we will eat about 1ish. I make enough to feed a small army.
We will watch the parade and movies.

DH and the kids will drag the 20+ Christmas totes down so we can start decorating the house... Our home loses about 1/3rd of it's size during the holidays!!! The kids laugh because it becomes quite cozy and after the holidays are house increases in size! LOL

I don't do BF. So, Friday will be my scrapbooking day.

We are headed to my family's gathering this Sunday. Actually, looking forward to it because my parents are going to be talking to my kidlets about staying with them one whole day/night at Disney.. DH and I will have a mini-moon for 24 hours!

FIL will come over the Saturday after Thanksgiving to spend with us and have a meal. I believe DsSs will be over... nothing has been confirmed because eldest in college is stressed and not speaking to anyone right now.

Thursday - heading to my Granny & Grandpaw's house (Grandpa is 90), the same that I have done for every Thanksgiving that I can remember.

Friday - In Laws are coming to the house, might be fun to have they help decorate the tree(got to see about that, not sure if DH would want too)

Saturday - no plans yet

Sunday - send DH hunting so scrapping day for me ;)

Monday back to work ;(

We'll be hanging out at home as far as I know. Thursday we eat with the in-laws around 1 and we'll decorate the house for Christmas. So that leaves the rest of the weekend for me to crop with Rachel :)

Thursday - Cook dinner, watch the parade, celebrate my birthday. Might run to Michael's.

Friday - may or may not shop, depends on the deals I can get. Clean Clean Clean!!! Everyone will be home and I am determined to get this house done.

Saturday and Sunday - Clean Clean Clean. Scrap scrap scrap. DS15's girlfriend might come over.

Thursday, it'll be just the three of us and together we'll cook dinner which we'll eat around 1-ish. Then, we'll get all the Christmas decorations down from the attic. Normally we'd also play games and watch movies and start decorating, but I'm working at Michaels that day and have to be there at 3:30.

Friday, I'll start decorating the house (I don't go Black Friday shopping). The tree goes up first and that takes a few hours to do since I stop and reminisce about the ornaments while unpacking them! I work that afternoon/night.

I'm off this weekend, so on Saturday I'll finish decorating the house and then DH and I will do something together.

On Sunday, we'll head down to DH's Mom and sister's house to spend some time with them.

Thursday work till about 2pm, I have been doing this since college so it is now a tradition!

Dinner with the inlaws, not sure how many of them will be there but at least I am not cooking!

Friday not sure.

Saturday is Julia's 14th birthday!!!:yay: We are headed to the movies to see the Muppets and then back here for pizza and cake.

Sunday is probably work.

Thursday- My in-laws, brother, sister & BIL, sister and crew, my grandma,my mom, and us 5 will EAT EAT EAT. We usually watch the parade.

Friday- Shop a little, probably mostly on-line. Then Christmas decor goes up

Saturday- Company leaves and we rest. Hope to have time to scrap??? We will see ;)

Everyone have a great holiday and count your blessings :goodvibes

It will be quieter here on Thanksgiving, just 5 of us. It's our first Thanksgiving without mom, and we usually have 25 people at her house - but, seems everyone is heading in different directions. The weekend will be livelier - love that!! I do not do BF shopping ( except at Michael's), so i hope to finish my second Special Olympics scarf!! Will also get started with Christmas decorations.
I am actually having a honey ham for dinner - first time trying this. Love making scalloped potatoes, butternut squash - my dd makes awesome French meat pies!!

I'll be wishing we had a weekend off...and Black Friday deals!:rotfl2:

We will be having a quiet Thanksgiving this year.

Thursday- Right now I believe we will have a meal here just the 3 of us - but we may be joining parishoners for a meal at the fellowship hall or be at someone's place. Maybe shopping at Michaels

Friday- Black Friday shopping- I love it- although with DH working it will be my first time going alone.

Saturday- get stuff ready for church, service

Sunday- church and get the house ready for mom's visit the following weekend- maybe work on putting up the tree and some decorating

Rebecca

Thanksgiving is here this year, so I will be a busy bee. I hope to get a lot of things out of the way on Wednesday. (Too bad I cannot use some Harry Potter magic to increase the size of my fridge!) Thursday I will go to M's, then come home for dinner and plan the rest of my shopping. Friday will be spent shopping, while DH sets up the tree and all of that. The rest of the weekend we plan on relaxing and visiting relatives.

We start our celebrations tomorrow! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving with my family at my mom & dad's house. I am SO excited! I love the meal, and it's just fun!

Monday & Tuesday, I work, and the evenings will be spent cleaning the house!

Wednesday, I'm off and the in-laws are coming for dinner. MIL is bringing the turkey. . .the rest of the meal is coming from Cracker Barrel! ;)

Thursday, we're all 3 home, and we're just going to do a relaxing day with football & leftovers! DH wants a TV for Christmas, so he is going to fight the midnight Walmart crowds to try to get one.

Friday, DS & I are home while DH works. I'll put away all of the fall stuff, etc. Then DH will come home, and we're headed to the cabin.

Saturday, we're at the cabin--we'll do some outlet shopping, go to Dollywood, and watch football!

Sunday, it's home to put up the tree!

I hope everyone's week is wonderful!!
