The only time we had AP's was back in 2007/2008 and we had to go to Epcot to get it. How does it all work now? Do you still order it ahead of time once you get your DVC AP vouchers?? When does it officially go into affect?? We are going to Disney in early Jan. so when should I do all of this? Maybe I have already missed the boat. :confused3 THANKS!!!!

GR at any park. It goes into effect the day you purchase it. You can't order ahead.

OP you can just go to any guest relations window and purchase it. It is good for 13 months. Just check the date when you get it!

Hi Denise!

We printed off the Tables of Wonderland form & filled it out ahead of time, then just handed it to the guest relations person when turning in our AP vouchers. Hope that helps. We did ours at MK. Everything went very smoothly.

sounds like filling the form out ahead of time is a great time saver - where did you find the form?

HI DEE!! :goodvibes Where do we find these forms? Thanks!!!

It's never taken me much more than a few minutes to get one. I guess if it's your first time maybe, but since I get a new one every year, it takes just a couple of minutes. I guess they just pull up my old account. Once they pull up your AP info, they have everything they need right there. I would just make sure you double check your email address and make sure that is correct so that hopefully you'll get TiW emails.

Hi Denise!

Honestly, I would not bother printing off a form. That will take you more time than just getting your TIW card at the gate. It's never taken us more than a few minutes to get our TIW cards.

Thanks Laurie!!! It does sound easier than when we had it in 07/08. :thumbsup2

Can I jump on this thread and ask what the annual pass vouchers are? We are new DVC owners and have never bought annual passes before but plan on it for our fall 2012 trip. I thought we had to wait to buy them when we got down there?

if you go on the dvc website, you can preorder your Annual passes. You will pay for them at that time. They will send you a voucher which you can turn in when you get there at which time they will give you your annual passes. And activate them for you at that time. and btw.... WELCOME TO DVC!!!

The first time we bought the AP thru the dvc website i was sooo nervous something was going to go wrong, but everything went very smoothly. And we had a confusing transaction. 2 AP vouchers to be activated, purchasing 4 Park Hopper passes, the Tables of Wonderland purchase and a guest asst. pass.(disability issue).

Thank you. I have never been on the DVC website. I dont even think I have codes for it. I guess I should call tomorrow and find out. We bought in August right at Disney.

We bought our first DVC annual pass by calling Member Services. They charged our credit card and gave me a voucher#. We we arrived, we went to guest services at Downtown Disney (behing the toy store). We gave them the voucher #, showed our DVC card and ID. Pass was effective that day. We also were able to pick up a TIW card the same time and place.

There are guest services at every park and Downtown Disney. Easy to deal with.

Friends who also are DVC members recently went to the world with no annual passes in advance. They went to Downtown Disney guest services and were able to get the AP (including DVC discount) without reserving in advance.

Hope this helps!
