Closest Fast Food/Quick Service Restaurants to Pop Century

Do any of you know the closest quick service restaurants to Pop Century? We're looking for places like Subway, Moe's, Panera and even Taco Bell, McD's, Burger King. About how long of a drive would it be? We aren't on a dining plan and get tired of paying such high prices for not-so-great food, so we'd much rather pay less for not-so-great food. Trying to gauge if it would even be worth our time to drive off property for this.

Thanks!

Have you not tried the Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck in DTD? They do really good food for a decent price. I know I'd rather pay a little more for food then actually go in search of 'not so good food'..its just a suggestion. :) Otherwise there is a McD's (not been to it but passed it on way to AK) very close by and then there are the all the places at the Crossroads in LBV.

No, we haven't tried those. We are usually in the middle of an afternoon break from the parks and are looking for something quick to grab and bring back to our room before the kids' naps. DTD always seemed like too much of a hassle to find parking and walk to the places. But maybe I can have them drop me off as close as possible and circle....thanks for the suggestions!

DMom & I shared a large pepperoni pizza at Pop for about $16. I wasn't a big fan of any of Pop's other offerings, but the pizza was suprisingly good. We both had 3 filling pieces, couldn't eat any more, & gave the rest to nearby guests. Otherwise, there is a McDonald's close to the All Star resorts. From my knowledge, the only other closest fast food places will be on I-Drive, which isn't very close, or in DTD (as the PP said). Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD is generally pricier than Pop's food court, but Earl of Sandwich is less expensive & offers a discount for AAA customers.

house of Blues is good for cheap too and about same price as the food court. Catfish app is very good.

Where do you want to eat? Pretty much every chain restaurant in America is about a 15 minute or less drive from Pop Century. The closest Mcdonalds is by the entrance to the All Stars or in the Crossroads shopping center.

There is a lot of good food for reasonable prices (not the pizza though imho) at POP food court. Since taking a break and getting naps are your goal I'd try it first. It's not that much more than any fast food chain.

Super easy! 10 minutes max if you have a car. Make a left on Victory Way. (Street in front of Pop.) Right on Osceola Parkway. Go over the 4. Make a right on International. Gaylord Palms is on the cornner. Drive straight this dead end at 192. Either way will find tons of restaurants. Some of our favs:To the left is Cracker Barrel, McDonalds, Krispy Kream, Taco Bell, Macaroni Gill and Chillies. Make a right there is Golden Corral, Chick Fli A, Shoegun, Joes Crab Shack. A bit further down over the freeway is Bob Evans, Perkins, Wendys, Olive Garden, Fridays and Carrabas. Tons to choose from and way cheaper than WDW prices.

I think it's another left onto Osceola Parkway to go over 4.

Good catch! Sorry, it's Left on Osceola not right.

Thanks for the save.

Your welcome and thank you for all the great restaurant info. We are staying at Bonnet Creek and after reading your post I was able to pull out a Disney brochure with a map and figure out how to get to Gaylord Palms and the Publix on I-Drive.
