Alrighty my friends - I tried to post in the completed trip reports forum but the post was closed!?!?! and I could not complete it... here is what I had posted, hopefully I can continue with DAY1 of this awesome trip!
_____________________________

Ok... So we are still not home from this trip BUT - I could not wait to start my completed trip report thread.

Our pre-trip report can be found here : http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2750215

Adriane and I are having the best time ever and have plenty of crazy stories to share... Tomorrow we fly home and Sunday I should be able to post Chapter 1 - of the Booze & Wine Fest 2011 trip report.

- be sure to stay tuned! We are a couple of trouble makers!

On day 1 we woke up at 4:30AM or so. We had zero travel problems with our non-stop flight to Orlando from KC and arrived ready for vacation time! Our room was not ready as we arrived super early so I gave Adriane a tour of the Boardwalk resort. We quickly arrived at Leaping Horse Libations pool bar and began the vacation drinking! It was not long before my cell phone rang with a message that our room was ready. We ended up in 5022 with a great view of the CREEPY clown slide.
IMG_4823.jpg

We loved the room (first time on the Villas side) and Adriane posed for a shower photo! lol
IMG_4825.jpg

Once we had dropped off the extras from our Magical Express carry on, we went in search for lunch! Hurricane Hannah's provided me with an awesome burger and Adriane with a great sandwich. I was hesitating hitting a park as I was expecting surprise #1 to arrive shortly. I ordered groceries from garden grocer so that I could cook breakfast and have booze in the room BUT I somehow asked for delivery on day 2 of our vacation!?!? I was waiting for a delivery that would not arrive for a whole extra day! Once this was determined from a call to GG CS I headed us in the direction of the Magic Kingdom via a long walk through Epcot and a monorail and ferry ride.
IMG_4849.jpg

Once at the MK we got a FP for Buzz and hit up the Carousel of Progress and the People Mover. I did a decent job killing bad guys on buzz and Adriane loved it!
28852670000.jpg

After Buzz we did the Haunted Mansion and LOVED the new graveyard queue. We had a wonderful dinner at the Big River Brewery and watched a couple different Boardwalk performers. Once we made it back to the room (exhausted) we noticed that the creepy clown is EVEN MORE CREEPY at night!
IMG_4860.jpg

Day 2 we return to the MK for some morning fun but end up at Epcot for more grown up fun!

On day 2 I woke up super early and did 90 minutes of Yoga. During the last few minutes I took a break to make coffee for Adriane. She woke up surprised and happy! We hit the bar prior to the MK for some beverage preparations!
IMG_4873.jpg

Sounds like I should be taking notes from you guys for my upcoming solo trip. Any tips on the best Bloody Mary on property?

WoW- posted that on accident! So here is more day 2 fun.

AFTER the fun Leaping Horse Libations bar beverages we hit the MK and started our tour.
IMG_4875.jpg

We did a whole bunch of fun stuff and really enjoyed the Jungle Crusie!
IMG_4880.jpg

We also made sure to hit up the Pirates of the Caribbean. Adriane is a huge pirate fan and I bought her the best pirate Mickey ears that we could find.
IMG_4889.jpg

We then enjoyed more MK fun and headed back to the room to get ready for an Epcot evening. We did a decent world showcase tour and I had fun insulting the pay phone in the AWESOME Morocco pavilion.
IMG_4899.jpg

We posed for a traditional Morocco tile fountain photo.
IMG_4900.jpg

We were having so much fun by this point that we were all sorts of euphoric. I could not imagine a better vacation! So we headed for our dinner at the San Angel Inn (which was awesome) and behaved like the coolest drunken tourists ever! Por hemplo - here is my Día de los Muertos pose.
IMG_4904.jpg

An even better example is the super cute photo of my fountain model.
IMG_4906.jpg

I am fairly certain that by the end of day 2 that Adriane was on board with my plotting and scheming too keep her as my own. Things could not be going better at this point! - Will day 3 be more of the same? Will we suffer a horrible hangover? Will Adriane get sick of my non-stop Disney triva? We will see with the next update!

I am so embarrassed that I don't have a good Bloody Mary hookup! We did not go that route this trip.

FORGIVE ME! :worship:
LOL

Woohoo sounds like a great time! Can't wait to read more, you guys are too cute! :rotfl:

More to come I promise! I have just been super busy.

I miss WDW a ton already so I will have to re-live the trip by finishing this report!

I guess that I'm left with no other alternative than to do my own research. :cool1:

Ya I always hate that first few days when you get back....you get major withdrawls:sad1:

Day 3

On day 3 we had another slow start as we took our time getting ready. We were in no hurry and hit up our favorite pool bar on the way to the dock to catch a boat ride over to Epcot. The bartenders at Leaping Libations were always fun and friendly!
IMG_4914.jpg

HOWEVER - on the way to the dock I was admiring the awesome theme of the Boardwalk and not watching where I was going. Then Adriane suddenly stopped and turned to ask me a question and I tripped over her foot, stumbled, cartwheeled, and violently fell to the ground! I was able to get back up unscathed and with only a half spilled drink but the other half of the drink had been caught by my shorts. It was back to the room for a quick change and a drink refill!
IMG_4916.jpg

Once I had changed my shorts and poured another beverage we were on our way for a full day at Epcot!
IMG_4922-1.jpg

The plan was to use all our snack credits from the standard Disney Dining Plan to sample as much of the F&W offerings as we could. This worked out well for us but I must say that outside of the F&W festival, I will not be doing the dining plan again. The value just did not seem to add up as well as it used to.

Upon entering Epcot via the International Gateway we headed to get our Fast Passes for Soarin'. I was not surprised to see that the passes were for after 5pm but was happy to know we would not have to wait in the 90 minute stand-by line. We then jumped right onto Living with the Land which is still a favorite Epcot ride for me. I love the message and the science behind what they do there in the greenhouse. Even though the ride has not changed much since I first rode it in 1997, I still have to hit it every trip!
IMG_4930.jpg

After the ride I was ready for some lunch so we grabbed some sandwiches using a couple counter service credits and were pleased with the size and quality of our lunch. The Dining plan provides dessert with every meal and I got to sample the biggest Rice Crispie treat I have ever seen!
IMG_4946.jpg

After lunch it was time to leave the Land pavilion and continue on to The Leaving Seas. "It is over there."
IMG_4957.jpg

***Day 3 to be continued***

So after the Land we hit up The Living Seas. The addition of the Nemo and Friends stuff is so much fun! We explored and wondered at the awesome sea creatures and watched Turtle Talk with Crush and loved every bit of it.
I posed for a "manly" shark photo.
IMG_4961.jpg

Adriane met an awesome shark expert who showed us all sorts of shark jaws and even let Adriane hold a replica Megaldon tooth!
IMG_4963.jpg

I could spend all day watching the fish and turtles and dolphins and whatnot but after a bit, we needed to get back into the Florida sunshine. Adriane is a huge fan of everything 80's related so we were on our way to check out Captain EO. On the way she spotted some of her favorite flowers (scarlet begonias?) and I got a cute pic of her in front of the flowerbed.
IMG_4973.jpg

Adriane shared my opinion of Captain EO in that it was dated even for the 80's!

Epcot is my favorite Disney park. I can wonder around and walk for miles and enjoy the contrast of the world showcase and future world. The F&W festival makes that even better by providing quick and easy food and booze! I will certainly be returning for a future F&W trip some time in the not too distant future. Adriane was able to have several of her FAVORITE beers and also got to try a bunch of beverages that she had not had before. F&W ROCKS!
IMG_5007.jpg

I am more of a bourbon/whiskey type of guy but I even got into the beer mood a couple a times during the trip. VIVA CANTINA!
IMG_4983.jpg

For anyone who has not given the Kimpossible adventures a chance - YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! It was very fun for us to share a few drinks and save the world with our "Kimmunicator". Adriane is such a kid at heart and she really got into it and was always surprised with how the World Showcase could respond to finding the next clue (notice the beer is empty and the jalapeno margarita is getting close!).
IMG_4985.jpg

Once we made sure that the world was safe, we ditched the Kimmunicator and snapped a few more fun World Showcase photos.
IMG_4987.jpg

Adriane loves vikings and pirates!
IMG_4998.jpg

Hit me with a funky beat!

At this point in the evening we were pretty well liquored up and were excited to watch good ol' Sugar Ray at the Eat to the Beat concert. So we cruised on over and listened to a song or two. It was great fun and the whole band was super cool and friendly with the crowd. We continued our drinking and wondering around and I ended up doing yoga poses in one of the Epcot fountains (I have no idea how that got started).
IMG_5015.jpg

Once we had our fill and our feet had enough punishment, we headed back to the boardwalk. I was hungry enough to stop by one of the fast food spots and ordered an enormous amount of fried awesomeness - wings - french fries - onion rings - etc. We took this amazing feast back to the room and looked at all the fun photos we took during the day.

We were having the time of our lives. Adriane was still interested in all my Disney trivia and we were both clearly enjoying each other's company even more as our vacation continued.

More to come with Day 4 where we have a blast at DHS and get DRENCHED on our way to dinner

I really need to find that guy at the the Living Seas, I had no idea they had a shark expert there.

Really enjoying your TR!

Thanks for chiming in! That shark expert guy was super cool. We had fun chatting and checking out all the Jaws he had on display. Here is another pic of his set up!
IMG_4965.jpg

On day 4 we started at DHS. Adriane and I headed first to the new Star Tours and I thought it was pretty fantastic. The combination of 3D and flight simulator made Adriane a bit queezy... We went to get fast passes for Toy Story Midway Mania and while standing in line for them, they ran out! We never got a chance to hit that ride on this trip. :confused3

So we wandered over to One Man's Dream and enjoyed the exhibit and movie. Adriane ended up getting a bit sick after the show (still from the Star Tours queasiness) but felt better after that.

She was still in good spirits and spotted a character meet and greet for Monster's Inc.
IMG_5031.jpg

From there we went to Muppet vision 3D. Adriane is a big time Muppet fan (we can't wait to see the new movie!) and absolutely loved this show. We talked about how this fountain should occasionally go out of control (like most Muppet contraptions do) and the Miss Piggy should spin super fast and shoot the water all over the place. I think that would be hilarious!
IMG_5033.jpg

Another ride we missed was the Rockin Roller coaster. I have a decent list of things that we will hit FIRST on our next trip. lol! We did not miss the Tower of Terror. On that ride I learned that Adriane is such a thrill ride screamer! I could not stop laughing it was so funny! We are talking about full volume - I think I might die - crazy woman screaming. HILARIOUS.
IMG_5034.jpg

After DHS it was time to get ready for our fun dinner at 'Ohana. We got on a bus to the Magic Kingdom so that we could monorail over the the Poly.
IMG_5036.jpg

While on the bus a torrential downpour started! The short walk from the bus stop to the monorail left us COMPLETELY DRENCHED!
IMG_5039.jpg

We might have been soaking wet and a bit chilly but it did nothing to dampen our spirits. We handled it as just another crazy adventure at Disney. Dinner was wonderful and I ate way too much. By the time we left, the rain had stopped and on the way back to the bus stop I noticed that the Grand One yacht was docked at the MK boat dock.
IMG_5051.jpg

I will do a dinner on that thing one of these days! Who is coming with me!?!?

Once we returned to our room we relaxed in the Jacuzzi tub and enjoyed a few of our favorite beverages. It was another amazing day.

On Day 5 I start the day introducing Adriane to the Animal Kingdom and end the day with a (very) romantic dinner!

I thought the new star tours was great, better then the old one. Youir idea of the crazy fountain is great, it would be awesome to get people unexpectedly. We got caught in that crazy rain one night when we were there as well but we couldn't stay at the crystal palace that night because the ac was cranked up and being all wet it was just way to cold....kindy crappy but things happen
