2013 dates

WOW...the prices were alot higher than I was expecting.....looks like we might be going on the Oasis in June 2013......I will check in December when I am on my cruise on the Dream, but I think the Fantasy is pricing me out. I just cannot justify 10K for a week, I can buy a car.

I priced the Oasis for the same week that I booked this morning on the Fantasy (8/23/13)...it is half the price!!!!!:scared1: Not sure what to do...we are devoted Disney fans but to pay double????

Thanks for the heads up! Has anyone received official notice about today's new booking opening from DCL? I didn't hear anything from DCL. They put "an announcement" on their FB page 9:30 PST this morning, but that's all I got from DCL. How did you all know Dream and Disney Fantasy sailings in 2013 are open this morning?

My TA told me that she got notice from DCL (She is Disney Certified, if that has anything to do with it) about an hour before they opened the bookings.

My TA said she got the notice around 7AM.

We just booked the Allure of the Seas. No way am I paying double! Those Royal Caribbean ships are totally awesome and kid friendly and we simply cannot justify the cost.

I want to book the Wonder for April vacation 2013, where do you think it will be? Hawaii or Mexico?

Only an hour?! That's hardly a warning. Since I live on the west coast, I should expect an early morning call from my TA on Magic's opening day. Did it open at 8:00am EST this morning?

I'm only a silver member, but if I were a gold/platinum member I would be upset about not getting an early booking opportunity.

I am very happy with the pricing for Fantasy 7 night Oct.

I know thats hurricane season but that is when we always go.

I have paid the am eor more for the same cruise on the Magic.

SO HURRAY!!!

Just wondering if i should wait til the other itenerai ries come out or shoudl i book and change if i decide to change.

ALSO.......I know my DD is gonna want to take a friend but dont know who, should i dummy that too and change it if neccessary i think either way i am gonna get charged but maybe not as much if i dummy it and just change a person. instead of adding a person later.

Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the price for the summer cruises is insane. I wonder how big of a difference it was this morning.

There goes my dream disney cruise. No way I'm paying $5000 for 7 nights in the "worst" room for 2A/1C.

Question though: should I contact a TA about Magic/Wonder now in the hopes that one sails out of NY?

Just priced out for 2/16/13 and Oasis is $600 more for a much smaller room or $3000 more for 40 extra square feet?

Fantasy was a great deal for us!!:confused3

The Gold & Platinum booking window only applies to new or special itineraries. Nothing released today falls into either of those categories.

:confused3 I'm also surprised that the summer prices are just insane. It's almost double what my family paid for our last 7 night cruise with RCCL.

We're mostly interested in Alaska, though, so I hope Disney is kind to us with not only the itinerary but an acceptable price.

I'm very very sorry....

At 8:00 I was looking at a booking it 8:00 it was $700...and at 8:05 it jumped to $1300

tooo much $$$$ for the 2013 prices...

Wow! I have been waiting over a year to book, and have been checking these boards every day to find out when I can. I thought I would have at least a day's notice! Imagine my surprise when I log in now to find out booking opened today! And this was the first time I could log in today. Guess I'll try calling tonight when I get home, but from the sound of it, looks like it will be too expensive. We might also be doing another line if i'm quoted a high price.

We can ONLY cruise in either June or July 2013 .... :sad2:

We are doing the Dream this year in December....then we have to wait until after DS's Senior Year to go on the cruise, can't go once college and school start back, since we want all 5 of us to go, which means that leaves June or July....UGH!!!!

Hoping some Pixie Dust falls on some rooms so when I am on the Dream Dec.18-22...I can get that 7 night Eastern Caribbean booked with a discount and half off deposit!!!! magic number after discount I am looking for is....6000 or 6500k...less would be nice ;)

I really would NOT wait until your December cruise to book, as prices could be higher by then. I would book it now, then re-shop the cruise once you are onboard to see if you could save money with the discount and OBC.

Unfortunately do not have the money to book now...... :sad1:
I would if I could.....but do not have the $1600 to put down.......we do not have or use credit cards, I know weird....but we are able to go on vacations every year and pay cash for everything (usually WDW. but the last two years it has been DCL and WDW....unfortunately in circumstances like this it is bad :sad1:

I guess we could always do a 4 night cruise like we have the last few times...... just really wanted this to be special for our DS and for some reason in my little mind I was thinking dates wouldn't be released till closer to the middle of December...as soon as I saw the prices this morning I had chest pains LOL and remembered they always come out at this time.

Um, yeah. We are priced out. Been waiting a year-and-half only to find out tonight the price is twice as much as the same exact 7-day cruise on the other ships a year ago. There is no way on this earth I am spending that kind of money. Just priced RCCL and Carnival....they are way less than Disney. We are "jumping ship" to another line instead. We'll probably look at Disney again in the future when the ships get a little older, but for now, no. Happy sailings to those of you booking now. Wish I could justify that price, but I simply can't!
