You'll have to wait at least until Jan 2012 for codes

We're planning our next trip for 2013, too. Most people on here won't talk about 2013 planning until their trip in 2012 is over, but you're right- it's never too early to plan!!

I know I can book the vacation in August-- Im ready now.

I am planning the MVMCP. NO Procession though. Looking forward to the Osborne light show.

But mostly-- seeing the new fantasy land stuff

As the others have said, 2013 packages, and promo's won't be out until mid 2012.

Tip though: If you are definitely going, you can buy your park tickets today - from someone like Undercover tourist (who generally sells them a bit cheaper). Your park tickets bought today will never expire (until you start using them of course). There will very likely be a ticket price increase between now and then (and possibly even two).

With that said however, if you do find another promo for 2013, it may be dependent on you buy park tickets with your package. i.e. Free Dining.

When Disney feels ready to implement their next promotion they will do so. If other recent promotions have been any indication, for about the first month nobody will really understand it and the Marketing people will not have thought out all the ramifications.

We're going in January 2013 too! (check out my pre trip report here How early is too early for a PTR? Who cares! ) I'm waiting to see if free dining comes out for somewhere around the dates I want to go. If not we'll get the dining plan anyway. (With 6 of us we definitely use it!) Do you have any ideas yet about exactly when you want to go or where you want to stay?

Join the waiting game. We are looking at 11/2012 and still no codes for that, so 2013 will be even later.

We are looking at December 5th through the 10. Grand daughter's birthday is the 10th so we may stay til Wednesday- definitely want to do the christmas party and something special for GD.

Everyone is looking at Pop Century- I am hoping for free dining too so will let them all pay for pop century- upgrade the dining and pay the difference to stay at Coronada Springs.

My bucket list wants me to see Disney in all its holiday splendor. Something I always wanted to do forever-- its my chance and Ill probably not do it again. So I want to do it-- and do it good- so Coronada Springs resort it is.

Of course they all think that the only time we will be int he room is to sleep--be it as it may-- I want true queen beds. ad the extra 54 sq feet-- LOL

FYI you might want to try the discount rates and codes board here on the Dis, although people are using this board a lot for these types of questions, this board is not for discount promotions it is more for themes or celebrations Disney does and has done in the past. The discount rates and codes board will have more activity with more up to date information than this board

We're looking at 2013 as well. Me and MRlittleme - both in our late 20's.
We've never been before and we are planning for 2013 simply because it will take that long for our bank balances to recover from my uni fees!

At first i thought it would be slightly embarresing to be going as 2 adults...then i found this place and discovered maybe not!

Because we want to go in December but not for th christmas day itself (too crowded)
but we also want to avoid the taping of the parade-- Dec 1 falls on a sunday and cant find out when they would do it.

I went to google--since it is my friend--lol but found nothing. Last time Dec 1 fell on a Sunday the parade was being done during the week.

What do you mean people don't start planning until their 2012 trip is over? Shoot I am leaving for Disney in 4 days, and had already started planning my 2013 Wine & Dine Marathon trip last September, and planned a 2012 Disneymoon to DL ,coupled DCL, just a few weeks ago. Are you telling me normal people don't do this?

I have been waiting to go back to Disney World since my honeymoon in 2008. My husband made the mistake of saying we'd go back in five years... 2013 will be five years and I've been waiting (im)patiently all this time! I'm so excited that in 2012 I'll be able to say "Next year is our Disney trip!" So. sad.

you can not book for 2013 until August 2012.

I thought it was 364 but too bad-- I was wrong.
