Wake Up Ally - Video

Whoever said, "A picture is worth a thousand words" really had it right.

The "Wake up Ally" video was hilarious! I am sure she was just voicing how everyone felt that morning!

And the picture started the tears in my eyes and I was crying through the entire video! Wonderful report, wonderful video! Thank you for sharing it all!

Um, I'm a McSparkleson!!!! Duhhhhhh!

Actually, I have no idea, but my account has a banner at the top saying, "you are now allowed to upload videos longer than 15 minutes." Originally I made the movie, then when I went to put on youtube it said the movie had to be less than 15 minutes. So I edited.... a lot. Finally got it under 15. I'm guessing either I've had enough views or enough uploads (cause I uploaded all those little blips too).

Either that or it's because I'm a McSparkleson. And I'm..... too sexy for youtube......

We will be taking our very first cruise on the Magic in April next year (eastern) so i have read thru your report eagerly, soaking up any and all info!

I also have an only child, and was almost crying tears of joy, when I saw that Ally had made such a good friend. I am already praying my son finds just one friend...it would be so wonderful!

Imagine this...I'M CRYING!!!!! Don't know how I'm going to be able to stand this next May! Seriously, great TR, just loved reliving it with you! Love and miss ya, Kara Jean!!!!

I am so sad your TR is over- and so happy you thought it was the BEST family vacation you have ever had. Because now I can say....

Poor Ally- but lucky Ally because now her Mama is OBSESSED and someday soon she's gonna forget what a vacation on land was ever like, you are going to take her on so many fabulous cruises!!

And in May...we are NOT going to the WORST show on the last night! Joan will flood the freakin ship if we take her in there!!

Also....maybe we should plan on rebooking while we're on the ship for a future DISmom cruise in a couple of years....Dummy date and then book it when the 2014 ones are released.....I'll be doing a dummy anyway, I want to sail out of NYC in 2014- I'm hoping they alternate the Magic between Europe & NYC in summers from now on.....

I really enjoyed your TR, it was great fun! We are on this cruise over Thanksgiving this year, our first 7 day with kids!! I love DCL, and I agree, it is just as sad going home!!! I hate eating in the restaurants b/c no one seems to want to be there! Do you know if they allow you to do breakfast at the buffet, or just the sit down? I found eating at the buffet on our Dream cruises made cutting the strings a little easier...

Just WONDERing if the MAGIC can continue for a little longer...

We called it the "love connection." When we took Ally the first full day to the Oceaneers Lab to make flubber, Jeff and I hit the adult pool and he just kept saying, "please let there be a love connection, please let there be a love connection." And she hit it off! Also, the FE thread that we were on helped a lot. A couple of us PM'd each other our email addresses and our kids were able to email before the cruise. So Ally was looking for Tori at the first DISmeet on board. Jeff has admitted that it was a good thing, even though he stayed away from the DISmeet.

Holy cow, I need to slow down. My neighbors just hooked me into a girls trip somewhere tropical in February.....

I actually remind Jeff DAILY how lucky he is.... and yesterday, for the first time in FOURTEEN years, he sent me a dozen roses for our anniversary! Well, there was the time he sent me BLACK roses for my 30th birthday, but I don't like to dwell on how romantic he is....

I'm so happy you enjoyed this trip report cause I absolutely LOVE writing them! It helps me to relive the trip, as well as keep it for posterity... ya know, Smithsonian, etc.
