Hi, we will be staying onsite for 7 nights, and although we're doing other things in the Orlando area, we'd like the option of going to US/IOA each day. There are 10 of us going, and I was able to get the 7 day passes from Undercover Tourist before they sold out, but at that time I was thinking it would be worth it to get one AP for the discounts, b/c we also want to do the luau, Blue Man Group, and we'll be eating at citywalk most nights...so I only bought 9 of the 7 day passes. But after doing more research, it looks like I can use our AAA to get discounts at most of the restaurants and shops, so maybe the AP is not a good deal for us after all.
So, my questions are:
1: Can you get a AAA discount on the luau and Blue Man Group, or is that only available with the AP?
2: Are there any other perks that will make the AP worth it? I was able to get the stay more rate on the hotel, so can't use the AP discount there.
We are also going to do Sea World one day, so the flex ticket is an option, if AP doesn't make sense. From what I gather, the Power Pass is $190 plus the Sea World ticket would be $270; the 3 park unlimited special (we would not use the waterpark) plus the seaworld ticket would be $255; and the Orlando Flex ticket would be $263 (with Undercover Tourist.)
And am I understanding the flex ticket correctly: it would cover unlimited, park to park access between US, IOA, and Seaworld (plus the water parks, which we wouldn't use.)
