DH approved another trip to Disney!
We're staying at Beach Club Villas (through RCI exchange) July 21-28 and at Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs July 27-August 1 (another RCI exchange).
This will be DD and my third trip in three years thanks to our timeshare and cheap military tickets. We've never stayed onsite before. We were definitely going to book the dining plan. We love to eat and think it will be a good value for us since A) I nickel and dime everything and don't order what I like, but instead what is cheap; B) we enjoy dining at places where we wouldn't shell out the money otherwise and C) DD is a very good eater.
DH (35), ME (turning 30 on the trip!), DD4, and DS (turning 1 on the trip) are traveling. We're getting the military $138 four days of park hopping tickets. We're trying to have a park day then off day schedule. If Sea World has free military salute tickets, one day at the end of the trip will be spent at Sea World.
So far, I have penciled in the following ADRs:
La Cellier lunch (because it's 1 TS credit)
Tuttu Italia supper (My bday)
Ohana supper
Chef Mickeys supper (DS Cody's bday)
WCC supper
Beirgarten supper
Cinderella's Breakfast (paying OOP)
I'd also love to try:
Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
CP before park opening breakfast (I love this and did this on the other 2 trips.)
Beaches and Cream
Garden Grill
ETA: I also have done the dessert party the last two years and would plan on that again, unless we did DXDP (too many desserts!). Also, I would pay with gift cards from Sams, so the $500 upgrade would really be like $500 + $50 in free Disneystore.com money! LOL
I'm trying to figure out if we're better off doing the DXDP so we can have TS all 8 days (which we'd prefer) and then not pay Cinderella's Breakfast OOP. (IF someone could tell me where I could get the chocolate croissants just like at the castle somewhere else, then we'd do dinner at the castle, which would open up touring time for us.) We could use some of the snack credits on the last day to stock up on some treats for the four days at HGVC.
We eat out regularly, but never in fancy places. We won't have a car the first 1/2 of the trip.
Thanks in advance!
