Harry Potter World Prices

I'm going to Harry Potter world in 2 days, and I was wondering if someone could give me some average prices of things in the gift shops. I've heard that some of the broom sticks can be up to $300 and I'm wondering if everything is "highly priced".
:wizard:

Of course--it's a theme park. ;)

Wands are $30, other smaller items can be found for $10 or slightly less. But you could definitely part with several Benji's if you're not careful.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is just like any other theme park when it comes to prices. You will have your cheap items and your expensive items.

You can also check out the store on Universal's website - they have a lot of the same products and I assume the prices are similar.

All theme parks will have some very expensive souvenirs, and some less expensive ones. Yes, a larger item like a broomstick that is pretty authentic-looking is going to be expensive, especially if it is a "limited edition" or something like that. But smaller items, like wands or tshirts, are around $20-$40, which is on par with similar items at other theme parks and online.

And while Hogwarts robes can run you about $100, you can find several nice Tshirts in the usual $20 range.

I'm curious about the bulk candy you can buy at Honeydukes. I know they had some last year when I was there but I can't remember the price per pound. We'll be down this weekend so I was just wondering about it.

My DH just bought a pound of pineapple squares, they were $12. So kinda pricey, but it's like that just about anywhere.

I think the refillable mugs are like $11. So that's a cheaper souvenir. They are kinda small though.

One thing I noticed about the WWoHP is that even though it is a theme park, the pricing for Potter items are pretty much on par with the prices of Potter items everywhere else. Potter t-shirts from WB and Hot Topic run in the $24.95 range and up same as in the park, Noble collection wands run about $30-40 from WB same as in the park, hoodies run $40-50 online from WB and Hot Topic which again is the same price in the park. They haven't really upped the price in the park against prices for similar Potter products elsewhere. Even with items such as the brooms, robes, scarves and ties they are priced pretty much the same as elsewhere.

The good thing about the WWoHP is they sell products there you can't find anywhere else and their prices are still inline with other Potter retailers.

Have you ever ordered from Hot Topic or the WB store before? I was wonderiong how the sizes run. I wear a medium or large in t-shirts depending on the style. Hot Topic has one I like but it is listed as a Junior's shirt. I was thinking about ordering a XL or 2XL since it is a juniors but I am not sure.

We bought the souvie mugs of butterbeer. A cheap souvie to enjoy and use when at home. My son bought a leather Slytherin journal for about $25 I think. wands $30. A few pins for usual $8-15 ranges depending on style.

Thats all they needed and were happy.

Today we bought 2 wands...$31.90 each
4 pair of socks...one of each of the 4 houses $24.00
Chocolate Frogs...$10 each, they were big
Luggage Tag...$7.95

So as you can see some expensive...socks and some not so much...wands #31.90

I haven't bought specifically from Hot Topic but juniors tees usually run small. I buy a large in a regular missy tees but a 2XL in juniors. Juniors are more fitted and don't generally have much room in the bust area.

Ghezz! things are expensive. :scared1: I thought the ticket prices were high. I don't know if we can afford to go to US.
