Sorry if this has already been asked but I can't find any other info about it...

I just got an email from the hotel that described a "priority entrance" to HHN if you are staying on site. It did say select nights only, but there was no link to more information. I know there is an AP early entrance that requires reservations, but this didn't sound like that. I haven't heard of this before and just wondering if anyone else had.

Thanks!!

This is news to me. I've never known onsite guests to get special benefits at HHN since it's a hard ticket event and after regular park hours. As far as I know of there are two ways of entering HHN. First would be outside the main gates and second...Stay & Scream.

Can you state from the email what was sent to you?

it might clarify this "priority entrance" for us.

maybe the early entrance for AP holders is the passholder party event.
other than that, i just don't know.

i stay onsite and have the AP.
the mailer i received only mentioned the ap party, early start on the houses at 5:30.

maybe what you received by email is something new.
i just don't know.

Here goes: This is the intro paragraph and the HHN section... the subject for the email was "Your Portofino Bay Upcoming Stay" or something like that. After the first paragraph, there are several sections describing WWoHP, the hotel, express passes, etc... I copied the entire section that has to do with HHN as all of the sections were seperated by lines... but this is all I could find, and the link is to the HHN homepage... :confused3

It is just a seperate turnstile to enter at so you don't have to wait so long in line at the turnstiles. The turnstiles can get really backed up for HHN and so this is just a shorter line.

Okay, thanks!!! Most nights I'm going I'll already be in the park, but one night we're driving over from Cocoa just to walk around and see as much as we can... this will be helpful, but does "select nights" mean all the nights of HHN (as I guess they are select from the rest of the week) or do they pick out specific HHN nights to let ppl through? Also, is the turnstile marked somehow?

I saw the signage clearly tonight when I entered. It's to the right side of the entrance gates where you have your ticket scanned. It's my understanding it's only for certain nights (I'm thinking non-peak nights) and you have to have your HHN tickets in hand. Frankly...it's still better to use Stay & Scream than to wait outside even with the priority entrance. Since you will be in the park prior to closing, just do S & S and you will be ahead.

I agree! Especially since after I read my post I realized that it's only going to work if I'm actually on-site... which I won't be the first few nights of our vacation! Not sure what I was thinking at that moment!!!

Thanks again!! :)

You still have to wait to get through the metal detectors. I don't think it would save you more than five minutes, if that.
