we are going crazy waiting. We are headed back to the World Nov 10-17, 2012. We are staying at our "home"... Fort Wilderness Cabins. Who else is going NEXT Nov...lets wait it out together.

We are going Nov 19-23 2012, had to cancel too many times before and this is the only time when the kids are out of school and they are not playing any sports!!! We are all excited to be spending Thanksgiven with Mickey and the crew!!

Thanks so much for responding. Our original plan was to go in Dec 2010. Had to cancel so we planned on Sept 2011. Once again had to cancel. We decided on making it a priority to go Nov 2012. Unfortunately we do have to take the kids out of school (no flames DH cannot go any other time). DH and I have dreamed of going sans kids (we love taking them but would love a whine free trip) and were planning on it in 2012 but since the last 2 trips were cancelled we decided 1 more with the whole family and then we can visit the world without the kids and without guilt.

:goodvibesWe are going in Nov 2012!! We just don't know the dates yet. We want to try to hit the end of Food and Wine festival and also catch the beginning of the Osborne lights and Christmas decoration.

Has anyone ever been in November and done all of these? Any suggestions for me? Thanks!

We are planning to be there...from the Friday before Thanksgiving, until the Friday after Thanksgiving, 11/16-11/23. The kids will only miss 2 1/2 days of school, no soccer, no basketball, no cheering...and we get to do Disney, for 9days at Christmastime! Planning to stay at the GF...and a Thanksgiving dinner with my family, who may meet us for the day...destination on that to be determined. So excited to start the planning!!! :cloud9:

I usually go in November and if you do the first full week of Disney you will be able to catch the F&W and some Xmas decorations. This year MVMXP starts on the 8th which means the MK will be decorated. I believe the Osborne Lights start then too. I love going that time because it starts to get you into the holiday spirit. :santa:

The weather the past 2 years has been PERFECT!!! Warm during the day and not too cold at night.

It's a great time to go!

We will be there Nov 26 to Dec 3 at POR. Cannot wait! This will be our first November visit so hoping for cool weather and lower crowd level.

DH and I are undecided, he wants the week after Thanksgiving (I was thinking January 2013) . It would be amazing to see the decorations though :goodvibes

I just booked for Nov3-11, 2012 and I am expecting to be able to catch the last week of F&W as well as the start of Xmas towards the end of the week.:woohoo:

We are booked into POR...it will be me, dh, dd(13) and dd(11)...very excited to be back in PLANNING MODE!:yay:

Just started a PTR for Nov 2012...yes, I know it's SOOOOO early but, I have so many thoughts/idea in my head about this trip...and need SOMEONE to bounce them off! If I start discussing these things with friends and family...they will just give me that "you're insane" look. I didn't want to monopolize this thread with all of my thoughts so.......if anyone is interested.....:rolleyes1
I'd love to hear any and all comments, thoughts, suggestions, ideas....the link is below.

After a few trips were planned far in advanced and then cancelled for one reason or another, I have decided that I am going November 3-10, 2012 even if I end up going by myself. I'll be staying at my favorite resort POR. And will be VERY excited to catch the end of the F&W Festival and the beginning of the holiday decorations... which I've never seen before. :)

387 more days!!!

:cool1: Add us to the November 2012 Trip People! We are actually doing our FIRST Disney Cruise...leaving the Sunday before Thanksgiving (Nov. 18th ) and returning the Wed before Thanksgiving. Our actual trip dates are not definite yet for our park/resort stays but right now I THINK we will try to arrive Friday Nov. 16th and then depart the parks on Saturday Nov. 24th. :)

We still have a lot to figure out for this trip. The cruise dates are set...the rest is not yet. Will we drive or fly or take the Autotrain? Where will we stay? I have a PTR link in my siggy as I plan this all out...as well as my upcoming adults-only March 2012 trip! :)

I will jump in. We will be going Nov 2012, most likely around veterans day, so DS doesn't miss as much school. We will be staying at AKL CL.
I plan on booking our room in the next month or so to ensure we have what we want. I also already have tentative daily plans made based on this Nov calendar.
My question is whether we do MVMCP or not.

We're in for Nov 23 - Dec 1. Last trip was 10 years ago so I am verrry excited. Unfortunately my DS who is 15 doesn't want to go. Any tips for teens with attitudes?

We are getting ready to book for Nov 3-10. Just waiting on my lovely:rolleyes: DD14 to decide if she wants to go or not. I gave her until March 1 to decide. I hate hate hate to take the kids out of school but this is the last time all 5 of us will get to go together :sad1:. I have struggled with the dates but after much debate we feel that week will be best for all of us.

I also, have REALLY struggled with dates and school and sports schedules...leaving us, as a family of four with only Thanksgiving week to consider...which means paying MUCH higher prices and larger crowds. About a month ago, when my 14yo DD looked at me and said "why don't you just take DD#3?!?" I was shocked!!! I couldn't imagine going to WDW without my 15yo and 14yo! But, my older two DD concur...they feel, they have been enough times. (Really?!? who do these children belong to?!?) SOOOOOOOO, I sat down and planned a trip for the first week in December...3-7th, 2012. The prices are MUCH lower, the crowds SHOULD be smaller; my youngest doesn't have any schedules to really work around. I am SO excited for some alone time with my youngest DD.:cloud9: I am still subscribed to Nov 2012 but, I had to start a new one for December...still a long way off but, so happy to be planning.
