HH the week after Easter and weather

Does HH get booked fully the week after Easter? Also, how is the weather there first week in April temps and water temps (ocean). Are the pools heated?

We were at HHI the week after Easter this year, but it was 2 or 3 weeks later. The week after Easter we reserved at 7 months without problem, but the week before Easter we waitlisted for. That (the week before Easter) was the week of the Heritage golf classic and I think the Heritage is the week after Easter in 2012 (not sure). If so, you MAY have to waitlist. Come to think of it, we were looking for a studio-if you want a 2 BR, you may be OK.
Weatherwise, like I said, Easter was a few weeks later, so I'm not sure of the weather when you go. But the pools are heated, the hot tub was really warm, and the air temp was in the 80s

Thanks so much....I was hoping for a studio or 1 bedroom. My older son will be in Europe, so it only 4 of us and I would love to save on the points....

We did spring break (Easter) at HHI several years ago. No problem at 7 months. The ocean is still pretty darn cold, even on a nice day. We lucked out and had sunny weather in the mid-high 80s the whole time BUT it dipped into the 20's and 30's the day we left!

Spring in the south is just unpredictable. You'll probably get nice weather - but it can also turn and be cold. It's not until May that you can count on warm weather every day.

There are only 21 studios at the resort so that doesn't help your chances...

Caution-spoiled DVC response

Go for the 1 BR. There's something about spreading out in a 1 BR that "goes" with the HHI ambiance. Besides, I love that little entry with the bench that has Mickey and Minnie's names carved in it, and it has the hooks to hang you stuff. Besides, DH says that the table on the porch of the studio is too small. He missed the picnic table of the 1 BR porch.
