My door did not open for me!!!!!

Our limo dropped us off in front of BWV this morning. I immediately strolled to the room that I had requested. To my surprise, it didn't open as soon as I stood in front of it. Discouraged, I pulled out the key card I used last year. "Surely this will work," I thought. Nope. I had to walk all the way down the hallway to the lobby. I was on that line for a whole 5 minutes! Five minutes!!!!

Why can't Disney get its act together?!?!?! Does anyone have the number for Member Services?
 
You think that's bad! Well, let me tell you about my complaint. During my last trip the auto-breakfast maker wasn't working! Then, I went to the parks and they required a ticket for entry! WHAT!! When did that begin?! I even showed them my DVC membership card. THEY IGNORED IT! Man, I keep wondering if this whole DVC thing is worth it :mad:

That is terrible! DVC is just falling apart at the seams! I hope your trip gets better.

My wife called last week for a dedicated 2br SV at BLT for mid September... would you believe there was nothing available! I am looking into our options to sell.
 
Now we had it rough.

There was 150 of us staying in a studio at OKW, disney felt we had to actually pay for more than ONE refillable mug!!??? ***!!??!!!

When we went to Pecos Bills and brought along 10 packages of hamburg rolls to make condiment sandwiches with off the toppings bar....THEY ACTUALLY STOPPED US!!!

The last straw however, was when we tried to make a little extra spending money by putting up signs in DTD area hotels offering our "discount laundry service". We got a call and was told we could NOT take in other's laundry and use the free machines by the pools for this purpose!!!???!!!!

I doubt we are EVER going back!!!!

I put on a lime green tshirt that had DVC OWNER across the front and the back and carried my DVC card in a lanyard around my neck for verification, scaled the balcony of a resort guest into the Savannah to pet the animals and feed them my leftovers only to be asked to leave the premisis. I dont get it?! Was it because I was reserved at OKW? :confused3

*Sidenote: SO needed this laugh today. :rotfl:
 
On our last trip we waited when we goy off ME at the BC but the band and fireworks never showed up. We almost got back on the bus to go home.
 
I called Le Cellier and they refused to deliver my dinner to my BLT presidential suite which i was upgraded to because of the electric shock i recieved from the static the rug in the lobby gave me. Well, I told them i had the super deluxe dining plan which i recieved because if the ink stain that i got my finger from the pen during check-in. Well, they still refused to deliver but this nice bell boy went and got my dinner for me but it was cold because it took the BLT managers (3 of them) 2 hours to before they understood who i was. But because my dinner was cold i recieved free annual passes for life. And since my favorite resort is AKV they said they would add the monorail there so i would not have to ride the bus.
 
Well, I can't believe they do not know our names yet! We have been 16 times now the last 8 as DVC members and you would think they would all know our names. I know they have 60,000 per day visit but come on its us, they should all know our names by now and treat us accordingly!!!smjj:confused3:confused3:confused3

My guess is that you had a balloon. Otherwise they would not have bothered you.

So it's not just us? I was so hopeful things would change after JL left.

We finally broke down and tried that Magical Express thing. What a racket!
We had to shlep our own bags to and from the airport!
O'Hare is a big airport!

So I called to complain, suggesting I get free dues for five years for my trouble, and they were rude, making me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about in terms of how that express thingy works.

To think I was feeling guilty about my new hair dryer.

LOL!! Hilarious! As an animal lover, I sometimes daydream about what it would be like to pet the animals as I sit on my savanna view balcony. Wishful thinking! :laughing:

I think the auto-open doors was just a perk at one time. As we all know, DVC perks can disappear at any time...just like when Mickey and Minnie would do in-room babysitting for DVC members, but now it's gone. My kids really miss that!

Let me tell you about my problem! One night, Mickey Mouse came in and tucked me in for the night. Well, I called the next day and complained about the rat problem!
