Hi guys,
I'm planning to visit WDW for a week in september but to start on Monday 12th.. I've read and heard that mondays are more crowded, is it true? and what do you think about crowds level from Sept 10th to 17th? Thanks!

Negligible.

Don't give it a second thought.

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

Is The entire month of september a great time to travel to any park?

We are planning a trip for September 2012 on paper, waiting till October to call in our 11 Month at our home resort, trying to decide for arrival the Tuesday after labor day or one week later.

Id prefer the Tuesday (9-4-11) as the next day would be my birthday.... but if that week might be a tad busier than the next stragglers heading home for back to school or whatever, we might look at the next week, and arrive on a Wednesday (to avoid flying on 9-11)

1- Staying away from any holidays, yes.

2- That's the way I'd see it.

I'll report back. We will be there both those weeks including labor day weekend. I've been told labor day crowds are pretty insignificant too. I think the only reason to hold off until the 2nd week would be if you wanted to do the MNSSHP.

I have and will go the end of September and we waited in line for nothing. Was extremely humid.

Do keep in mind that the week you will be there is when MNSSHP starts. Starting on the 13th, the MK will close at 7 PM to everyone without a party ticket 3 or 4 nights a week.

So while Mondays in general tend not to be too bad a day, and September is a pretty slow month, once parties start, the crowds do tend to concentrate in the MK on non-party days. That's because these are the few nights non-party guests can see the evening parade and Wishes.

My family and I were also going 9/10-9/17 and we were specifically going on the days that MNSSHP was not being held. I've read other threads about crowd levels in September and most people said the crowds were really low. I'm sure the crowds will be significantly less, which is the main reason we selected September to go (we usually go in June) but my main concern is wait times on the non MNSSHP days.

Given the overall lowish crowd levels for September, you'll probably still be fine. But I would expect those non-party days to be busier than the party days. We went in late September in 09 and there was at least one MK day that was crazy busy. Mostly though I would expect bigger crowds at night for Wishes and MSEP, as you have the current day's crowd plus those who hop back for one of the diminished number of showings that week.

Thanks for the advice.... and I've just read it's very hot on september, OMG! I thought the weather was alike to my country where all september rains a lot and is colder =S I'll go prepared =)

In all the fuss about buying the DVC, i forgot all about MNSSHP, I think it might be worth the money...To atleast give it a shop for the photo opportunities....
