American Girl moms, what would you pay...?

I just made some adorable matching sets of AG/Girl headbands. It is pretty hard to say how much I spent on each one, because I made all different kinds and all the materials cost me different amounts. Instead of figuring it out that way, and pricing each set differently, I wanted to come up with a price that I can keep consistant. I was thinking $6 for a headband, or $11 for a set. My mom told me $4 each and $7 for a set. I think that is too cheap - they are hard plastic headbands and really cute, with rolled fabric rosettes or other details.

What would you pay for something like that? I am trying to sell them to make up the difference - my DH's unemployment checks were cut below half.

TIA!

Have you looked on ebay and esty to see the kind of prices other are charging for similar goods....thats where I would start. I think somewhere between the two prices you mention, but thats just me.

The ones on etsy are between $10 and $12, so I think you've guessed correctly.

I think $11 for a set sounds reasonable. I see headbands sell for around that on etsy, and I think the matching doll headband is such a cute idea!

How about $11.00/set or

two sets/$20.00?

Everyone likes to think they're getting a good deal.

Thanks for the input! I like to be "right". :lmao: I like the 2/$20 idea!

Two for 20 is a great idea, cuz Im sure there are alot of moms like me how have 2 daughthers, both into AG, so that would be something Id be interested in. Id make some that will fit the bitty twins/babies.
