OT: Which Photo would you choose?

I'm spamming today!

I have a gift certificate (that expires soon!) to have a photo professionally enlarged. I want to hang it in the bedroom, over my bed. Which of these photos would you choose? (All were taken on ABD trips. So it's *sort of* on topic!)

Photo #1: Delicate Arch (Arches National Park)

Photo #2: The Grand Canyon

Photo #3: Mt. Denali

I am so bad at decisions!

I also vote for #1. I would worry that the color on the other two is too subtle to work in an enlargement. They are all gorgeous, though!

I would frame all three pictures in slightly smaller frames and hang them side by side on the wall.

I like the idea of doing the other ones in smaller sizes & hanging them together. I think it's highly likely the 2 I don't do big will still get printed & hung.

I have to agree with everyone else as to they are all very beautiful.But #3 gets my vote,only 10% of the people get to see the peak of Mt.Denali and since you got to see it first hand I think that is special in it's self.When we went to Alaska last year with ABD I kept hoping to get that shot,but I didn't.Lucky you It's going to be a tough to pick one

I'll go against all the other votes, and say photo #2. I love the colors for a bedroom, very soothing. All of the photos are serene, but I personally don't like reds as much for a bedroom. My own personal preference, and I guess you would want to consider the other colors in your room.

I kind of agree with you on this. While I really adore all 3 pictures, and they all have special meaning, the fact that #3 means I actually made it into the 10% club of people who have seen Denali that clear makes it extra special. It was my original choice. But I'm afraid the contrast on the mountain is too soft for a enlargement. I sent them to the company, and they actually chose #3 as the best, and said it would look great. I'm close to a final decision...

Thanks! "Soothing" is a good word for #2. If it doesn't make it in my bedroom, it *will* definitely still make it somewhere in the house. I do love it.

I agree that they are all wonderful pictures. My vote would go for Mt. Denali. The reasoning is that you just don't see that picture very often. The Arches picture is extremely beautiful, but you can buy that picture anywhere. Since you are part of the 10% club, the Denali picture is truly special. So, the decision was, after a TON of pros & cons & hair-pulling, --- #3!!! Mt Denali. It was, actually, the first one I'd considered. I was worried about the softness and the lack of contrast on the mountain, but the company that will be doing the enlarging told me they thought it was the best of the 3, and would look great enlarged. Thank you all for your input & opinions! I took it ALL into consideration!

You know, I think, ultimately, that's what swayed me towards #3. I love all 3 pictures. They are all 3 surrounded by fabulous memories, and very special to me. But there was something about that moment of seeing Denali, crystal clear, from the road. Knowing I was now in the 10% club. It really is unique and very special.

I'll be sure & post a photo of it hanging in the bedroom after I get it!
