David Badali, a local diver who participated in the search for Caylee Anthony
and possible grandmother/father of Caylee

(and side case of Roy Kronk suing Leonard Padilla)

All of these going after Casey Anthony in civil cases. This can be a place to discuss the upcoming trials.

Well tonight should be interesting... if she's going out disguised, then what makes anyone think she will allow herself to be deposed for the civil suits?

Yeah no kidding. Is everyone thinking she will get out at 12:01? Might be worth staying up for if so. Hmmm

I heard anywhere from 10-2 and the airspace over head has been shut down to news crews... so no aerial's coming your way...

On an aside I wonder if George is getting any peace at all...

I feel so bad for him. I think his wife has gone back to Casey, but for him-she killed his grandbaby, then had the **** to accuse him of molestation. He's lost everything. Yes, he's got a little bit of a temper, but I'm not sure I could have held it together any better under the cicumstances.

Yeah me either, he got everything possible thrown at him at a really tough time in his life.

That looks like a complete list, at this time. Who knows what will happen.

Following the release - they are trying to do it in secret.

Watching the protestors. Does no good to protest - people would rather stick their heads in the sand than admit there is a problem.

they can't really shut down the air space can they? thought only the government could do that - not just a lawyer.

He held it together much better than I ever could have... the jury thought he was hostile, well, if it were someone like myself THAT would be hostile...

There was some discussion on this before in her criminal trial. But I just saw this listed in an article. I didn't think she could, but if she can, my guess is that is what she is going to do.
"Deen said Anthony can leave the country with a passport, even with civil lawsuits pending."

I think there is nothing to stop her from leaving the country, she hasn't committed any crime to stop her and has no warrants for her arrest... she doesn't owe child support, thus she can get a passport if she doesn't have one already. Having said that however, if she wants to go to a Country that requires her to have a Visa issued from that Country, I say good luck...

I think the State can choose to do that and from what I heard a few days ago they were going to.... thus there could be no news choppers... now if that's changed over the last 3 days I've no idea... is anyone watching the news to know?

I am beginning to think that Casey is the "luckiest" girl on planet earth and will never be forced to be responsible for her actions. These civil suits will likely go nowhere.

After someone posted on the other thread how she can do a LLC to tie up her money and limit what she actually receives--it is just all a lost cause.

BTW, thanks for starting the thread OP.

Jim Lichtenstein has tweeted who the embedded journalists are: NBC cameraman Tony, photographer Red Huber who took photos at court, and an AP reporter (no name given).

I haven't seen anything mentioned about the air space. I'll keep looking.

Yep, on a FB page I called her the poster child for The Teflon Girl: nothing ever sticks! I have been absent from all the chatter since her verdict came in. Ironically, we were sitting in a laundry room at WDW when the verdict was read, just as we were sitting in a laundry room at WDW when the news broke about Caylee being missing. I have not been in a very good place since the verdict. This case had become personal for us for a number of reasons. I hate that I have lost all confidence in our justice system. :sad2:
