Has anyone been to this? Does it cost more than regular park admission? Is it worth it?

We have done this and it is fantastic. Get a dining plan and use the snack credits at these booths .... get way to try food. Also, for beer lovers ... the Beer passport!

We have been and really enjoyed it.
We went hungry and shared the food items.
We bought 2 wristband gift cards to use at the kiosks.
I would recommend it to anyone and would love to back again!

We caught the last couple of days of Food and Wine last November. It's definitely worth a visit as the others have said. We also caught the Festival of the Masters at DTD. Just amazing! I think it's Nov 11-13 this year. I'd go again!:)

I did last year. It's the same price and if I may add, I would avoid weekends since it's more crowded then week day... my guess locals also like the event. If oyu have the dining plan, use the snack credits to sample food. Last year we even tried a lobster roll which was valued at $7 for the price of a snack credit. Go with lots of sncak credits and an empty stomach and enjoy!

3pletprincesses hit a point I forgot ... if with kids avoid Epcot on Friday Night and Saturday. Can tend to get a little wilder than usual.

One thing to keep in mind is that with about 25 kiosks it can get quite expensive to get something from every kiosk - especially if you are paying OOP. The portions are very small (I'd call them tapas sized). Check out this link for some of the menu boards from last year.

And yes, if you can try to avoid weekends, as all the locals tend to head over to the F&W Festival and it can get quite crowded.

Beer Passport???? Do tell. I was there in 2007, but I don't remember that. Very exciting. However i intend on spending a lot of time and money in Germany on the Spaten beer. Delicious.

This is from 2009 .... While wine is center stage, beer is getting a bump in prominence with a "Beer Hop" between the France and Morocco pavilions. For $12, guests can sample four brews from a selection of ales, lagers and craft beers from around the world. (Ted's note: This is the location that they set up in ... its not that the beer is from Morocco or France! ewww)

More info from 2009 is here ...

And when the schedules for the seminars comes out check that out, too. They have seminars, about 2 hours each and the when I was there two years ago they were about $8 each, about wines and other things. We took in a seminar about bourbon and it was fantastic. Learned alot, were treated very well and got three full sized, full strength cocktails each! That made for an unusual afternoon at Epcot, let me tell you. Most of the seminars that year were in the Wonders of Life pavillion. Worth checking out, for sure, if you don't have little ones with you as you can't attend the liquor-related seminars if you aren't legal to drink in Florida.

We'll be there for the first week of F&W and we're making a plan to do it again this year.

If you can afford it, the Party for the Senses is a great event. We went a few years ago. They give you a plate and a wine glass as you enter. There are tables set up indoors in the otherwise empty building near Canada, and booths all around with various types of food and wine. You can go up as often as you like and have as much food and wine as you like. There's also musical entertainment, and performances by Cirq du Soleil performers. We really enjoyed it.

Now that's what I like!
