DCL Online Survey

I got a postcard in the mail that asked me to fill out a survey online about my Med cruise and about DCL in general.

The really interesting part was when it asked me how likely I would take the following cruises and then it listed out various itineraries. I pretty much pooh poohed the Bahamas itineraries (don't really want to go to Nassau) but did see they had suggested one that went to Bermuda. That I'd be interested in.

But then ... they presented these two itineraries which I said ... YES YES YES to:

7-NIGHT EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN (Starting at $949)
Cruise Ports: Civitavecchia, Italy; Messina, Italy; Kusadasi, Turkey; Athens, Greece; Heraklion, Greece; Civitavecchia, Italy

7-NIGHT WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN (Starting at $949)
Cruise Ports: Civitavecchia, Italy; Genoa, Italy; Marseille, France; Barcelona, Spain; Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Sardinia, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy

I would love to take one of the Med. Cruises. I don't really see it in my future.

Was Bermuda mentioned in the Bahamas itinerary, or was it on it's own from NY? That would be a big YES for me!

So the only Med itineraries were 7 nights?? I think ours next month is sold out now. Perhaps the shorter cruises sold better than the longer ones and they'll continue that plan.

As much as we'd like to do an Eastern Med I also want to sail on the Fantasy so I guess we'll just have to wait until they offer something interesting on one of the new ships.

Not near enough time in Italy! They could do the whole cruise there and I'd be happy.

I had the same survey.... Bermuda was from NYC, if I recall correctly, 5 nts only one stop in Bermuda.

Of these ports, my favorites are:

• Kusadasi: Go on an excursion to Ephesus. Be sure to see the Terrace Houses.
• Athens: They probably mean the port of Piraeus. The Parthenon at the Acropolis is amazing.
