Hi Folks,

John and I were invited to California to meet with ABD.

They have some terrific stuff planned and we think you will be very excited.

We have also been invited to take a "hard hat" tour of Aulani. We will be meeting with folks at the new resort on Monday and we will have details coming your way.

So far, we have had dinner at Catal, gone to the Magic Kingdom to see the Mary Blair exhibit at the Main Street Gallery, had the special World of Color Dinner package at Ariel's Grotto and ridden the new Little Mermaid ride.

We also had our afternoon meeting with the folks from ABD.

We've been here approximately 32 hours.

I will try to keep you updated with details as they happen.....

Time for bed. Early day tomorrow.

Sounds super fun & spontaneous - that's one of the few perks of DL, it's much easier to be spontaneous here.

We just did AG for WoC this past Sunday to catch the 4th of July pre-show and also spent quite a bit of time in the Gallery - it's a great place to cool down and soak in the atmosphere. I *love* her artwork!

Have a safe trip and I hope you have a great time in Hawaii!! Can't wait to hear about it all on the show.

Whoa, very cool. Thanks for sharing. I'm curious to hear your impressions of Aulani. Especially since it's getting very close to the grand opening. However, I'm most interested in hearing what how the new Mary Blair exhibit is at the Main Street Gallery. I think that sounds wonderful! Have a great trip.

Hi Dave, we just got back from our first trip to Disneyland. I thought the Mary Blair exhibit was great, but I think it was only because I am a big fan of her work. Had I not been, it probably would have been no big deal.

Don't forget to eat some churros while you are out there, they are better at Disneyland than they are at Disney World.

Hi Dave, we just got back from our first trip to Disneyland. I thought the Mary Blair exhibit was great, but I think it was only because I am a big fan of her work. Had I not been, it probably would have been no big deal.

Thanks Melissa. I remember when I interviewed Disney Imagineer and Disneyland Art Director Kim Irvine she talked about working with Mary Blair and designing the new exhibit.
