Welcome to my trip report! Let's get the introductions over with so we can get to the exciting part, the trip!

First up is Dad! My dad loves Disney World (and traveling in general). He'll go on all the rides and is tons of fun to be around!

Then there's Mom! Mom loves Disney World just as much as me and she's the one that helps me convince Dad that it's been too long since our last trip and we need to go back. Just like Dad, she'll go on all the rides!

Next is Thing2! Thing2 is my 11 year old sister (celebrated her birthday while we were there!). Again, she loves Disney World and goes on all the rides. She's usually my partner-in-crime when it comes to begging to ride "just one more ride"! :rotfl2:

Thing3 is my 6 year old sister! She loves Disney World as much as the rest of us, but she's not too keen on the thrill rides yet. This trip she was more into pin trading and meeting characters.

And finally, me, Thing1. I am 14 years old and obviously LOVE Disney World (and Disneyland for that matter). I love the thrill rides and soaking up all the magic Disney has to offer!

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside for 12 nights, June 3rd-June 15th! I hope you'll stick around to hear about our wonderfully awesome trip!

Thanks for reading!

Ok so I couldn't wait til tomorrow and came over to your TR anyway. :rolleyes1 Really great start and I can't wait to read more. :)

I'll start posting our first day later this morning. I have tennis camp for an hour but then I should be free to DIS all day! :cloud9:

I know it sounds crazy, but for some reason, I thought I was going to sleep in that morning. Maybe it was because Promotion Night was the night before, so I'd been up late, maybe it was because June 3rd was my first full day of summer vacation. I was wrong. Very wrong. I was awake by 6 AM, earlier than a school morning. I just sat in bed for a while going on the DIS, but finally I just decided to get up. Around 7, I made Mickey waffles for the family (and Grandma Z) because Thing2 still had school and Dad was going to work for the morning.

Just pretend I took that picture....Thing2 and Dad left, Thing3 and Grandma were playing in the basement and Mom was finishing packing, so I went back on the DIS for a while, took a shower, finished packing, etc. FINALLY, Thing2 and Dad came back!! Dad loaded up the car to drive to the airport, we ripped the last link of our countdown chain and got into the car! We were finally on our way to Disney World!! Thing2 and I passed the time on the ride to the airport by singing songs rather loudly from the back seat, but Mom and Dad were too excited to be annoyed with us. When we got to our terminal, we unloaded the car and said good-bye to Grandma, who was taking our car back to our house for us. We checked 3 or 4 suitcases and then went through security. Dad ended up having to go through twice because he left his phone in his pocket (better than Hawaii; the zippers on his cargo shorts set off the alarms and he had to go through probably 5 times). We rode the moving sidewalk (love those things!) down to our gate (of course, the last one!). Mom and Thing3 decided to sit with our carry-ons so that Dad, Thing2 and I could go get lunch for everyone. Thing2, Thing3 and Mom all got lunch from McDonald's and Dad and I got lunch from Manny's (corned beef sandwich for him, potato pancakes for me). While we were sitting at our gate waiting for boarding to begin, my sisters and I decided that it would be the perfect time to put on our Mickey ears.

We had boarding passes at the end of group B and beginning of C, so the chances weren't good we would get to sit together. We were right. We found two seats together in the back, so Thing2 and Thing3 sat there. I sat diagonal from them next to a lady and her daughter. Dad sat in front of Thing2 next to some kids from a Make-A-Wish family and Mom sat more towards the middle of the plane. For a while, we read and colored. Thing2's 11th birthday was during our trip, so Thing3 and I decided to give her the present we got her on the plane so she could use it the whole trip. We "presented" her with a Tigger plush toy and the Hidden Mickey book. Thing2 and Thing3 then surprised me with a Lightning McQueen plush toy! This immediately caught the attention of a Make-A-Wish boy sitting in front of me. We had a long conversation about Cars, his family, Disney World and my iPod. After he turned around, I turned on my iPod and was about to press play on my movie when the lady sitting next to me starts to chat with me. She was very friendly though, so it was not a problem. She and I chatted about her kids, her son's adoption from Guatemala and Disney World. Long story short, I didn't watch any of my movie on the plane. The plane landed smoothly and soon we were in the airport. We took the fake monorail to the other side of the airport and quickly found the Magical Express counter. We were put onto a bus right away, so I was hopeful that we wouldn't have to wait too long. Not the case. We waited for probably close to 45 minutes, which is a long time when you're tired and ready to be AT Disney World! We entertained ourselves by taking random pictures.

I'll leave you with that picture for now. Thanks for reading! :)
