Reminder to recent Dream guests...

Oh YES!!! I would love to start reading the reviews. Please include if your room was across from the laundry room or by the elevators, etc. :thumbsup2

I will be sailing 2-13 and I will make sure I post one, we are in 6686 one of the cat 9a accesible rooms in the rear corner of the ship.

Don't forget to mention muster location!

And if you are in a Cat 4 or 8 please list the bed configuration. (Some only sleep 4 and will have either a bunk or murphy, please indicate which one)

THANKS

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread as a reminder! We are in room 9578 on March 10th & 6656 on April 10th & 14th on a b2b and will definitely be doing a statehood report on both staterooms!

I couldn't review my room on the Dream! Our room number was 10052, but it only allows spaces for 4 numbers, not 5... that needs to be fixed! Also, deck 10 wasn't an option on the deck choice... do we know when those will be fixed?

Hmmmmm....there was a thread (or maybe just a post) from one of the DIS tech team saying it was all set up for the Dream. Guess they missed a few details. I'll hunt down the link he posted, in case it is a different place than the Wonder/Magic reports.

Yep, I tried doing a Dream reservation last night and you still can't input cabin numbers with 5 digits nor decks above 8 when you've selected the Dream.

I searched 10 pages worth of posts and didn't see the one from the mod/IT person...I thought it might have a link to an area that we aren't seeing when we click on the staterooms option above.

Off to try the search function and see if we can find it that way.

Tink,

You've probably gotten a bunch of emails on the room location, but I figured I'd throw my lot in. Not sure how long it will take them to fix the stateroom review site, but I'd love to hear your impressions of 10052. We're booked in 10045 in April with DW, 6 yr old DS1 and 3 yr old DS2 and thought we'd be sitting pretty up top with easy access to the deck above. Now with all the talk of pool noise I'm a little nervous!

Anyway, I'd love to hear your impressions of 10052!!!

Thanks!

Well, from a location standpoint this room was FANTASTIC!! I LOVED how easy it was to get to the top decks and just how great the location was in general. The elevators just outside our room took you to mid-ship, just outside the quick service eating places and with very easy access to the both the family/kids areas or the adult area. I loved, loved, loved it!

I would say there were two negatives: one, there was an overhang off the deck above, so your view I would say would a tad bit obstructed. Other verandahs I have had were completely open, but this one was no. Still wasn't bad though. As for the noise, I certainly did hear "thumps" above me, but honestly not too often... probably just when someone fell down on deck 11. The overall noise factor wasn't an issue for us. We did hear the pirate party music going on from our room faintly after we came back to our room, and you could hear the sail away party music, etc... so whenever there is a party above you, you will be able to hear the music, especially if you open your door to the verandah.

But, none of these things even really bothered us. Overall, I would book this room again in a heartbeat!

Great to hear about the location. It was a primary reason I booked it! We were one deck down and near the stairs from the food/drink station on the Wonder and I loved the convenience of being able to jump up and get stuff, especially for our young boys.

Since we're in an inside cabin, I won't have to worry about the overhang and obstruction, but being under the Cove Cafe, I suppose the thumps we'll have to worry about are the falling-down-drunk adults in there. :-)

All around great news! Thanks!

You will love it! And this deck was cool too because the main hallways on the outside only had the doors on one side of the hallway for the verandah/outside rooms (imagine walking down the hall and to your left is just a solid wooden wall... on the right were doors of the rooms all the way down. This differs from the other ships because the hallways would have inside room doors on one side of the hallway, outside rooms on the other side). To get to the inside staterooms, there were hallways that connected the two sides of the ship and that's where the doors to the inside rooms were located. I don't know why, but I thought that was kind of neat... you had your own little hallway (if any of that makes any sense at all!)!

When I saw those on the deck plans the first thing I thought was what fun if a group of friends booked some together and had their own 'private' hall. I've picked out 7067, 69 and 71 for some future party! :cool1:

Yes we are going to be staying in room 9669 in October. The review for this room is not out yet so if anybody stays in this room a review would be great. Thanks everybody. :thumbsup2

Is the sticky thread at the top of forum the one you are searching for? Or a different one?
