they are finally making a Jack Reacher movie, for those of you who are not fans he is a character in a series of books by Lee Child.....he is an ex MP, 6 ft 5 in, 250 lbs and tough as nails......and............they have just cast Tom Cruise for the role..............all 5 ft 7 of him..........any Reacher fans out there?

Actually, I don't think he has the acting chops. Maybe Vince Vaughn could go on a diet? What about Ryan Reynolds? Too young?

Nooooo! There is no way Cruise could pull off Reacher. No possible way. I've tried to cast Reacher in my head for years and I've not been successful. But whoever it is should be Rock-sized or there abouts. Not Tom Cruise-sized.

The Thor guy could be the younger version of Reacher that is in some of the books. I could kind of see that. He can look a little rougher and Reacher is supposed to be more rough looking.
