Alrighty ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls..

I'm blogging this cruise out bit by bit (just arrived home today), so I'll link you all to the days as I go along via this post. Just click on the photo beneath the title, and it'll take you directly to that day. As a side note, I did this cruise solo and had an amazing time - I hope you enjoy reading my trip report!

Mediterranean 10 Day Cruise on the Disney Magic

Day 1: Embarkation (Barcelona, Spain)

Day 2: At Sea

Day 3: Valletta, Malta (Valletta & Mdina: A Tale of Two Cities Tour)

Day 4: Palermo, Sicily

Day 5: Naples, Italy (Sorrento & Pompeii Adults Only Tour)

Day 6: Civitavecchia (Vatican Museums, St Peter's Basilica & Coliseum Tour)

Nice start! We tried to clean up after we left the Magic the morning you boarded.

Interesting you selected using Wordpress for your Travelblog as well. I have enjoyed using it. If you haven't tried this yet, I suggest using Live Writer 2011 (free download from Microsoft). It's significantly better and easier than the Wordpress editor.

I started ours a couple days before we left and we spent a few days in Barcelona before we boarded the Magic ...then without any network services to speak of, I've been catching up since...
Were up to Naples as of this writing (half of it anyway)

Here's the Blogspace: http://witw2011.wordpress.com/

And the DISBoard posting: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2738882

It'll be interesting to see the differences and similarities!

Look forward!

Thanks for your encouragement and advice, all! Third installation is hot off the press:

Day 3: Valletta, Malta (Valletta & Mdina: A Tale of Two Cities Tour)

Enjoying your TR. I used to do a lot of things by myself, but I don't think I would cruise alone.

We were on the same dining rotation but we were at Table 5! You didn't happen to see the commotion on the last night in Parrot Cay, did you?

Ahahah! That I did, in fact I took a couple of people around Paris today who were seated right next to the table where there was the commotion!

Apparently the kid hit his own sister while the mother was off getting security (for her own son!!) to escort him from the room. Pretty insane stuff for Disney!!

Haha... ok. Somebody had said that a guest had hit another guest so I guess that was technically correct. We all thought somebody had wailed on a guest at another table. We heard shouting and then saw head servers running to the other side of the restaurant and our own servers looking at each other and shrugging. LOL

Thanks for reading along, guys - I know my posts are a bit long at times, and this one's no exception..

Day 5: Naples, Italy (Sorrento & Pompeii Adults Only Tour)

I think I would have preferred your excursion over ours. We squeezed in Capri into it and I think our time in Pompeii and Sorrento suffered and I really wanted to see more of Pompeii. I heard about that horn battle ... I was in the shower getting ready for dinner when my brother came and told me of the horn battle. Drats!!

BTW, the aircraft carrier was the George Bush and the destroyer was the Gettysberg.

Loving reading your experiences and mentally comparing them with mine. I'm still so jealous of your solo trip...deep down I wish I'd've ben solo also! Keep it up- great reads! ;)

Hot off the press, I present Day 6..!

Day 6: Civitavecchia (Vatican Museums, St Peter's Basilica & Coliseum Tour)
