I was watching american idol with my family and i saw the commercial for the lion king coming out in theaters this september 16th in 3D! Who's going?

I wonder if Disney will be kind enough to stick in a disclaimer that they stole the characters, names of characters, and plot, from Kimba the White Lion while they show it.

I saw at least twice during it's original theatrical run, and I hate 3D. So I'll be going to see Cars 2 and Harry Potter instead.

I wish it wasn't in 3-D... but I'll still probably go and see it. Hard to pass up my all time favorite Disney film in theatres again!

Did anyone else see the 3D preview for this in front of Cars 2? I love The Lion King, but I'm just not sure I want to spend the extra money for the 3D glasses. The preview looked cool enough (especially since it was in IMAX), but if those prices don't magically drop, I may skip out on this.

The Blu-ray, however...well, I preordered that MONTHS ago.

I cant believe I didn't know about this! Lion King 1 and 2 are my favorite cartoons. I think I watched them more than a 100 times.

Lion King 3D is a good movie to see, it is a good entertainment movie, the story of this movie is very nice.
