A Hop, NO Skip, and Many Mishaps to a Disney Dream!

Sadly, the Flying Dutchman is no longer there. It was starting to fall apart so they dismantled it last Dec. I was so sad to miss it by just a few months. That had always been one of the draws of CC to me. Rumor is that they may bring another ship from one of the new movies in the future...with the biggest rumor being the Black Pearl. But the way this last movie ended, I think the Black Pearl will be in the next movie for sure. Maybe they'll put the Queen Annes revenge . I'm not sure if they left it open for that ship to be in future movies or not.

Bummer, I thought that would be so cool to see. I only just recently watched the 2nd and 3rd movies. They weren't nearly as good as the original though.

several months...one thing... We cruised in '08. If that stupid postcard shows up over 3 yrs later....I'll...I'll...well, I don't know what I'll do...but c'mon!

And yes...on Cruise Critic and we are ready!! Everything is done ('cept buying water and beach towels before we go...but, buying those at Dad's in Fl prior to cruise) and we are reserved, planned, bought & all but ready to go.

YAY!! I bet you are excited...but by now you are all cruising experts! Is it just the 3 of you this time...or is extended family going on the cruise as well?

Bummer, I thought that would be so cool to see. I only just recently watched the 2nd and 3rd movies. They weren't nearly as good as the original though.

I liked them all pretty much the same. I think number 3 was my least favorite of the 3...but number 4 didn't have "it". I liked Cptn. Jack, but was not impressed with Penelpe Cruz. They needed a new character like Will...and they just didn't have it. I guess I would say not enough action for me. (or enough extra good looking men. Will was nice to look at! )

Well...i dunno if I'm excited? It's a month from today we board. But...we'll have been at Dad's & BIL's for the week prior. And yes...just the 3 of us. Bubba's first time just the 3 of us. (in '08 mom was along and last year was the family cruise....this is only his 3rd cruise) Might be weird just the 3 of us?

You might be finishing this report up by the time I'm ready to start mine!

I forgot to ask....friend of mine is going on Dream in Sept. DH is doing door magnets for her. Do you have a better pic of the Aqua Duck? I'd like to try and make a door sign for her with that. Thanks...no hurry tho...finish your report here first (before they riot after me...lol...)

No problem. I went into the cruising thinking the CD was going to be $250...as I was told her on the boards, but it was actually 200, so I felt like I was getting a bargain. LOL! I went in know I would probably buy it and had budgeted for it. I don't know if I'll buy it again on future trips, but I had to get it at least once.
I always get the photopass though at the parks. I usually do a share and keeps the cost down and so even if I get just 4 picturtes on it, it's still OK. But I usually get a couple hundred. I am doing a share for my trip in Aug. and I know I will have a lot less pictures, but I know if I don't do it and get even just a couple, I will be bummed if I didn't get the CD.

I know, I am taking forever! LOL! What type of Aquaduck picture would you like? I have a ton of the sign...as you see, but I don't know if I have many of the actual ride. Because it winds around the ship, it's hard to actually get it all.

Bubba is becoming quite the Worldly traveler. But I think it's great. I like that Claire has been able to experince a few things that not all kids can. My older DD Paige is mad that Claire got to cruise before her.

I'm thinking a pic of the sign...w/ the Duck on it. Thinking of a door magnet that has that w/ a saying of "Aqua Duck or Bust"...or something along those lines? Whatever pic you have...I know you can't get the whole ride...unless you were in a helicopter

Kids today have so many more opportunities than we did. I had to be in my 30s before my first cruise. Bubba was 9.

I personally like the smaller design of the two. I hate for any writing or graphics to be wrapped around my whoowhoo's. lol.

Bigger is better My vote is for the 2nd tanktop.

Smaller writing would not grab attention as well as large. A lot of people(maybe excluding a few men ) don't want to be caught looking at the chesties, just to read the print.
