I don't have a problem with mentioning things here, but I'll be blunt and say that posting information on the boards is a bad way to get my attention about podcast stuff. There are all kinds of reasons that checking the boards here may be difficult or impractical for me on a particular day. If you need me to know something (volunteering for a particular show, or something's come up and you won't be able to record with us, for example) it's ALWAYS best to Email me at my screen name @disdads.com.
For show topics, the first place I'm going to look is the Podcast Ideas page at disdads.com. The second place I'll go it my Email. This might be the third place I look. The other two are just more efficient to go to first.
For show discussion, the best place is still disdads.com, using the comments for each show. But if there is general podcast discussion, something from an older podcast you want to discuss, or something relevant to multiple podcasts, this is probably the best place to post.
I hope that makes sense. Ultimately, people will post where they want to. I'm just sharing my likely process.
