Is Dessert ie. a muffin no longer a part of the dining plan if I was to get a platter meal and a drink with my QS Credit??....

I know we could in the past but I thought I'd read somewhere that it wasn't. Please could someone clarify this for me.

For 2011 the quick serve credit will no longer include the "juice" or extra drink or muffin at breakfast. It will only be the entree and drink. Lame in my opinion, you should get a dessert since the credit is the same value for lunch and dinner.

This years QS breakfast included a platter and two beverages. It never included a muffin (unless it was part of the platter). I always had to order a muffin or croissant using a snack credit.

Me too. They always said it had to be a 2nd drink. We only used the CS credits the last day before heading to the airport so we had hoped to get an extra something to take on the plane but all we ended up with were drinks.

Way back in the day (2007), CS breakfast did include "dessert". We were allowed to get a pastry, or fruit, or even an extra side. We got mostly bacon for our dessert! :lmao:

Those were the days.

Just to add to this, and it will most likely vary from one location to the next  but one morning we ordered a cinnamon roll and that counted as our CS credit, along with the 2 beverages. Unless you have plenty CS credits to spare as we did, you would be best using a SC for your muffin.

It varied by location. At Pop Century you could always get a baked good as an alternative to the second drink with breakfast but many other places didn't allow it.

Starting in 2011, that second drink is no longer included with breakfast. Since it's no longer included, the substitution for a baked good is not relevant either as there's nothing to substitute.

I'm wondering if places that DID allow the substitute for the second drink will allow a substitute for the drink that is still included. Since the QSDP comes with the refillable mug, people on that plan won't necessarily want a drink. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I agree. We were at Pop for FD in early October. For breakfast when using our QS credits, we were allowed a pastry (as desert) and 2 drinks every morning.

I know this is an older thread - but it has me totally confused.

What is included in a counter service breakfast at the POP food court? What is all this talk of 2 drinks? Is a pastry included with the counter meal? I don't need a drink as we'll have the mugs. Help - we leave tomorrow.

Entree and drink. Until this year they allowed a 2nd drink/juice as your "dessert" but that is no longer an option. Since you don't need a drink you can ask if you can substitute anything for the drink, if they say no grab a bottled drink to take to the park with you.

Thanks! :)
