Planning Our Happily Ever After - A Disneymoon PTR! (NEW 7/13 - TR Link!)

DAY 4 & 5 PLANS

So, today is 1 month, 1 week and 1 day until our honeymoon. Wow! I guess I better get moving with my daily plans! Here's what we'll be doing on days 4 and 5 of our trip:

DAY 4

On day 4, we will finally make it to the only park we will not have visited yet - the Animal Kingdom!

If you've read any of my previous reports, you'll know that we'll be heading straight to Expedition Everest! This is an absolute favorite of ours and we like to ride multiple times each trip.

After EE, we'll also do the safari and dinosaur, and probably pick up some FP's for Kali (since I like to ride the water rides at the end of the day).

At noon, it will be time to check in for lunch. I'm really excited, because we're going to be trying out Y&Y for the first time! I really like the CS place, so I imagine the actual restaurant is even better.

After lunch, we'll finish up whatever else we want to do in AK. Hopefully we will be able to fit in either FOTLK or Nemo (or maybe both)!

I am planning on spending most of the afternoon at the park since we don't have another day there planned, so when we get back to the Poly I have a feeling that we will be exhausted! The plans for the evening are just to relax. I have visions of us hanging out by the pool and grabbing some dinner from Captain Cooks, and then watching Wishes while swimming. Hopefully that plan pans out!

DAY 5

Day 5 will be our first official sleep in day! We don't have anything planned until out lunch ADR, so I imagine we'll just lounge around after we do wake up. After 4 action-packed days, I'm sure this will be a much needed break!

Around noon, we'll finally head over to the Magic Kingdom (by monorail of course!)

We have a 1:00 ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern, which I'm also really excited to try. I know I'm definitely ordering some of the fried cheese!

After lunch, we'll have fun in the MK all afternoon. Hopefully we can snag some FP's for later in the evening, since I'm sure crowds will be pretty high at this point.

Whenever we get hungry for dinner, we'll pop into a CS place, but we won't fill up too much, because later on we'll be going to...

The Wishes Dessert Party!

I'm so glad that they decided to keep doing the party. I can't wait to sample all of those goodies and see Wishes from a different perspective.

After the party, we'll likely be beat, so back to the Poly we will go!

Relaxing after so many packed-in days sounds like a great idea :)

Never been to Y&Y before! I am sure it will be good though!

Swimming and watching Wishes sounds like a wonderful plan! I hope it pans out that way for you and Miguel :)

Your shower looked absolutely fabulous!!! Day 4 and 5 plans sound great! :thumbsup2 Not too much longer now!!! :goodvibes

Your shower looked beautiful!! I can't believe your wedding is almost here! I feel like you just started this tr!! Oh how time flies as we get older... ( I'm really not that old it just seems that it really does fly)

Days 4 and 5 look like fun! I really want to try Yak and Yeti someday, I can't wait to hear how you liked it! Watching Wishes from the Poly pool sounds great!

Sleeping in sounds fantastic! :thumbsup2 I love LTT, and the Wishes Dessert Party is awesome!

YAY! Days 4 and 5 look great! :thumbsup2 Whenever people ask me my favorite Disney park I never say AK, but John and I always have the BEST time there! I don't think I've ever been to AK and not had a blast.

I'm so glad you are doing lunch at LTT and the Wishes Dessert Party! Those were two of the highlights from our first MK day on our trip in December. We loved both of them! I can't wait to hear what you think of the Dessert Party. I loved not having to hunt for a good place to watch the fireworks. Plus we got to sit while we watched them! Not to mention the delicious treats... :rolleyes1

More great plans!

We love AK, even more than ever after doing the Backstage Safari tour (during which I met my new boyfriend :lovestruc )

Thanks! :goodvibes As soon as I read that you can see the castle (and Wishes) from the Poly pool I knew I had to schedule an evening there. It sounds so relaxing and romantic! :cloud9:

I agree - I always put AK behind Epcot and MK, but we really do love the park. In a lot of ways, all three of those parks are kind of tied with each other. They each have things about them that are so special. The only one that falls behind for us is DHS, although it's growing on us!

I really hope we get lucky like you guys and get to sit during the dessert party! I know that doesn't happen often, but your experience gave me hope! :goodvibes

BRIDAL SHOWER 2

Well, I made it through my second bridal shower this past weekend! I wasn't quite as nervous at this one as I was at the first. I got so many gifts - my dinning room is literally covered in them! I will have to take a picture to post here.

Here I am at my grandparents house before we left, and then in the car on the way. I was definitely having a better hair day than I did for the first shower, thank goodness!

This shower was a little more traditional than the first, since it was two more mature ladies planning it as opposed to my two young maids of honor. This one was much more steeped in tradition instead of theme, like the other one. My grandmother assembled the traditional ribbon/bow bouquet for the rehearsal dinner and apparently, we determined that Miguel and I will have 3 children since I cut three ribbons. We shall see about that!

We had the shower at the home of one of the hostesses, who is a co-worker and dear friend of my grandmother. It was the absolute perfect setting. Everything was so beautiful!

I loved that we had a very traditional southern punch!

My mother doesn't get very into the picture taking, but here is a shot of us getting out food together! Haha.

When I went to put my purse in the guest bedroom, I saw this and just had to take a picture to show my DIS friends!

It was a really wonderful shower and I feel so blessed that so many family and friends got together over the past two weekends to celebrate this exciting time. We're only 2 day away from being at 1 month!

Fabulous!!

Was it a coincidence that she already had wedding plates AND that they have 3 children on them?! :rotfl:

Its coming so soon!

Looks like you had a great time at both bridal showers!
They look much more 'ladylike' than the hen parties here lol (although mine is a spa day & dinner, so I'm hoping it's not too crazy! ;) ) .. I'd not heard of the ribbon bouquet before, that looks like a nice tradition :goodvibes

Days are going by sooo quickly!! do you have your dress now?

Emma princess: x

What a beautiful shower! You look so pretty! I love the wedding china. It's so cute! It looks like you got a lot of great gifts. :thumbsup2

You look great - I love the dress! It's really great that you were able to have two very different yet equally wonderful showers. I can't believe you're so close to 1 month away...you must be so excited! :)

The 2nd shower looked like so much fun, the house it was at is so beautiful! I love the punch, what's in it? We never have punch, ever. I mean, not even the cliche high school dance where the punch gets spiked, nothing. :confused3

I can't believe your wedding is SO close! I can't wait!!! I feel like we're all going to be there with you, you've been planning it for so long and it's almost here! It seems like yesterday you were going to look at dresses, and when was that, October or something, right?
