A Disney Dream Come True - Nov/Dec TR ~ Oct10 Another TR :)

The last time I was there around Christmas was in 2008 and all your pictures of the decorations have me wanting to take my mom there then so she can see them. It looks like you were getting a lot done without any crowds so far.

Your Thunder Mountain video was awesome! I can't wait to show River when he gets up tomorrow!

We didn't get to meet Tiana because her line was always to long. So all my pictures of her have other peoples children in them:laughing:

I can't wait to see how the rest of your day goes.

I'm glad you liked the video! The decorations were incredible :goodvibes:

:rotfl: I've done that too!! I have pictures of Woody and Jessie with other people's kids, lol.

OH you mean not for me :)... sure it would!!!!

:rotfl:

What's the pickle barrel? :confused3

Ha! Pecos Bill. George could never remember the name so he dubbed it the Pickle Barrel.

Yay! What a perfect start to your MK day....seeing Snow White!:yay: Ariana must have been so happy!!:goodvibes

That's so cool that you were there the day that they taped the Christmas parade!!:thumbsup2

Yum!! Gotta love the Pickle Barrel!!;) Nick was just saying the other day that's where he wants to go when we go back.

Looks like a great meet with Tiana and Naveen!!

Great update :) You were brave to venture into MK on taping day but so far so good. Great interaction with Naveen & Tiana, they are great aren't they :) How sweet of that guy to bring you back a diet coke, this is what Disney is about to me, not just the rides, characters etc but also how people come together and are nice and friendly because they are really happy and enjoying themselves :goodvibes

She loved it Angie! We've met Snow White many, many times... and we'll meet her again before the trip is done! On Christmas Day watching the parade, I LOVED knowing we were there. :thumbsup2

I've met Tiana and Naveen a few times now and it's always great... I wish more meets were like them but lines would be crazy all the time.

I reminded George of the Diet Coke story the other day and it brought a smile to his face too... months after the fact and it's still a simple, great memory!

After saying our goodbyes to Tiana and Naveen,

We headed back towards Fantasyland. First trying our luck with becoming the next King....

2010_1204Misc0200.jpg

We headed next into Snow White's Scary Adventures.

Coming out of Snow White, I started looking around for a particular shop that held a surprise for the girls of our group. We headed into Castle Couture and I noticed the BBB photo area was now in there. Thinking this is where I had to be, I asked a CM if you could take pictures here outside of the BBB packages and he said yes. Everyone wandered while I waited in a line but it just didn't seem right so I approached another CM working in the store and quietly asked (so the others in my group couldn't hear me) if she knew where we could be sprinkled with pixie dust. She let out a huge smile, lifted her hands up to reveal a magic wand and said that in fact, SHE was the one that could sprinkle us with pixie dust! Of all the people to ask, she was the exact person I needed!

Making our wishes while being sprinkled.....

Demetri felt a little left out and asked if there was anywhere he could go to get sprinkled for a special wish too. Never fear, with a slight turn of her body and a minor adjustment, the CM turned the Pixie Dust into Magic Pirate Dust and Demetri was thrilled to make his own special wish.

Absolutely recommend doing this, no matter who is in your group. It's free and it's wonderful fun!

The next thing we wanted to check out was the new Winnie the Pooh.

Hey Spectrum Mom's.... remember this spot?

We had a lot of fun going over what was new and pointing out to Kathryn all the things that hadn't been there before, or what was in new spots.

I haven't had the chance to play with these walls yet but they looked fantastic. This guy saw me trying to take a picture and did a little demonstration for me. :rotfl:

2010_1204Misc0225.jpg

This was my only half way decent shot from the ride itself....

2010_1204Misc0231.jpg

Next, the kids wanted to ride Dumbo so we headed over.

All caught up....finally.

My only comment is that I *think* Captain EO is a 3 drink minimum! :lmao:

That's so cool that you were at MK on the parade taping day, wish I had realized that when we watched on Christmas day!

The new interactive activities in the WTP line look so fun :thumbsup2

I'll have to note that the meet with Tiana and Naveen is a good one and make sure its on our list of must do's.

I took that same picture of the castle throug the trees by Tianas meet too. I thought it looked so cool.

I saw them sprinkling pixie dust on people (male and female ) when we were in line for pictures. I had never heard of them doing it. I thought about getting it done after Claire's pictures, but my Mom and Dad had arrived and were waiting outside so I kind of forgot about it. It looked fun. There were a couple CM's that were doing it.

Claire gave her try at the sword too. She has the same face as your kids...determination. She wanted me to come over and help her. :rotfl:

You got some fantastic snow white pictures. That ride is so hard to get anything. We rode it this trip too..probably our last ever...but Claire could care less, she didn't care for it. :scared1:

Aww love the pixie dust moment, so cute :)

Great pics of the Pooh Bear line, looks so cool. Can't wait to check it out this year.

ahhhh a cliffhanger :lmao: oh company ok;) can't wait to read the rest

hooray on the pixie dust, I had never heard about that, my niece would've loved that after her princess birthday meal

great pictures as always

Ah man! I was just doing that update I promised when those bandwidth exceeded things popped up. :headache: Poopers. Now I have to wait until around the 9th until they'll show up again. Sorry

I knew we wouldn't see ourselves in the crowd -- we hadn't reserved the tickets to do that -- but it was so fun remembering the little details of things we'd seen that day. :thumbsup2

Yes, do go see Tiana and Naveen! Check their times though, the line fills up quickly.

I really liked that shot thru the trees... I have so many pictures now it's fun finding that little something different. I have another Castle shot I really liked too that I'll post once the bandwidth thing is over.

The pixie dust was a highlight for me, it made us smile the rest of the day. The little things! :goodvibes

I'd love to be there the rare time someone gets to be the one that pulls it out of the stone. The look on everyone's face (mine included!) would be priceless!!

 Usually I get set to take a pic in Snow White and just then the car will jerk to the left or right and it's lost... I got lucky. She didn't like Snow White? :faint:

You'll love it! Very fun :teeth:

Thanks Jessica! Maybe by this weekend I can get that update posted. :thumbsup2

Just a heads up, I went pro...3 years in a row now. Do the trial offers for the free upgrade. I post so many pictures that I have to be pro or have about 50 accounts. I went through the vista priont one and got a coffe mug which is going to Mom for Mothers day...and the cost with shipping was just over $7. Not bad for the pro account, which I think chartes like $30 or more. Last year I got the post cards and used them for my oldest DD's graduation invites, but I have since bought post cards and used them for Christmas cards and a batch for Thanks you cards. They come in a 100 pack and now when we have to send thank yous for something, I have them ready made....and postage is cheaper for postcards.
Anyways there are a few different items on vista print you can get that fulfills the trial offer and then you are upgraded that same day.

I hate when that happens!

Figures too, once I was starting to get back in the groove of regular updates again.

I'll check back on the 9th, haha. It's no fun without photos!

For sure! "So we headed over here.. {photo} and check this out! {photo}" :rotfl2: Not quite the same eh?

While you're waiting, wanna check out our latest themed movie night we had last night? I just posted on my Halloween PTR (with my other photobucket account so the pictures work!!)

Come on over and read it HERE!

Your Cars movie night looked like a lot of fun! There was a commercial for Cars 2 during Survivor (or atleast a teaser for another teaser on Sunday during the Amazing Race!). I think it's going to be good!
