Electrical Water Pagent noise

We have booked a room at Bay Lake Towers for our next trip. I was listening to an old WDW Today podcast today, and someone mentioned being woken up by the noise of the Electrical Water Pagent. I think I saw somewhere that it passes by BLT around 10pm, and my kids will be in bed by then. I'm wondering if this will disturb them. Has anyone had experience with hearing the music from inside a room on Bay Lake?

Thanks!

You can hear it from the room ... but I certainly wouldn't call it noise! :)

It's not that loud unless you open the balcony doors.

We have had a Lake View studio on two separate trips and you can definitely hear the music from the Water Pageant. We opened the balcony door to listen to it on most nights but it never woke up our 4yo.

And it does not last long at all. The fireworks from the Magic Kingdom will be much louder.

In all of my stays at the Contemporary with the Bay Lake View not once was the noise from the Electrical Water Pagent ever a problem or would I consider to be loud.

We're never in bed by 10 PM anyway! :lmao: I just can't imagine that the music would be loud enough to wake anyone. :tink:

PS I LOVED :lovestruc BLT! We also had a lake view and it was fabulous! :thumbsup2

I've never been awoken from the noise on bay lake. I was once woken up at the POLY- our room was next to a speaker or something. We also all were sick and in bed super early (think trip from hell) and that had something to do with it.

One of my very first "stays" at CR was in "the non-existent Wing" - the building that was removed and replaced with BLT. :rolleyes1 We were in the very end two rooms, on the ground floor (they were super ! ). My children were "older" (all teens :hippie: ) and, if we were in the room at the time, and they heard it coming, they would all run outside to watch and hear it. :wizard: IMHO, if you are a parent that "worries" , this one would be way down at the bottom of the list :confused3 ! You just might have a bigger problem with the fireworks, but I seriously doubt that the "Electric Water Pageant" would cause problem... unless, they hear the "music" and respond to it - that's a different story. As I said, as soon as my kids knew it was coming, they ran out to watch it and to listen to the music.... :happytv:

Just stayed at BLT in January. We could barely hear the music from the pageant unless we went out on the balcony. My kids slept soundly through it. After a day at the parks, the very low music isn't going to wake them!

We stayed at the Poly and it was loud but short. D'ya know what was way more annoying? The horn on the TTC boat that blasted every time it was under our window, until like 1am. <<<<----that was really annoying!

That boat wouldn't have honked under your window if the room next to you didn't have a sign that said "HONK NOW PLEASE"! :lmao:

Well since the OP has reserved a Bay Lake View they won't be able to see the fireworks from their room. Now at the Contemporary with the Bay Lake View I will admit you could hear them going off, although that's if you happen to be stadning on the balcony. If you are inside the room with the screen door closed then you won't hear them, at least that's been my experience.

Thanks everyone! I'm not really worried about the noise per say - just wondering if it might be something that would wake the boys up. I think we should be fine! Plus, I'm the light sleeper in the family, and will probably still be awake then anyway (gotta see me some water pagent floats!)
