Our last trip we stayed at the CSR and loved it. But our 3rd child was only 2. Now what do we do? I assume we can't stay at CSR again.

The All Star suites, Ft. Wildnerness, POR-Riverside with a trundle bed or one of the deluxe resorts are your choices if your third child is now over 3.

It does get tricky as your family gets bigger. :) Your cheapest option is Port Orleans Riverside where they have 2 full-size beds and a small trundle bed. Next cheapest is 2 rooms at a value. After that would be a family suite at All Star Music. Next would be a cabin at Fort Wilderness. After that, most deluxe hotels except for Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge hold 5 in a standard hotel room. We are staying in a deluxe room at the Boardwalk this summer, is it a bit larger than a standard room and should fit our family of 5 well. :wizard:

We are doing a split stay between a ASMu Family Suite and the Poly.

We have also rented a house twice in Indian Creek.

We've stayed at Poly, Contemporary, BC, SSR, and this summer we're paying cash for BLT. good thing our 3rd child is cute!!! :lmao:

We do two rooms at a Value (usually Pop). We like the extra space; a bed for each kid (they are all restless sleepers and wake each other up if they share a bed); two bathrooms; and two TV's.

We loved the suites at ASMU. There is a separate bedroom for the adults. NO need to worry about getting adjoining rooms. 2 bathrooms is great in the morning. I loved the little kitchenette for quick snacks and breakfast in the room. All that, plus the suites are close to everything! The location is fantastic! And, they are very budget friendly. :)

We love the Beach Club and Poly, and we're trying BWI before our cruise in August. We stayed at CSR several times (long before we became a family of five) and enjoyed it - it's our favorite among the moderates. But we really love BC and Poly!

OP, I think much of the decision of where to go next depends on a combination of budget and need for space. We're fine in a regular room at a deluxe resort because we spend lots of time out and about. The deluxe resorts also work well for us because we like the transportation options. I know some families really need the extra space and prefer a villa, a suite at All Star Music or two rooms. But for us, a standard-sized room at a deluxe resort is the best fit.

Happy Planning!

We have stayed at the POLY and had no problems fitting, rather roomy for a hotel room. We stayed at 1 bedroom MK view at the BLT and that was super sweet! We prefer the POLY theming by far, but having a washer and dryer, seperate rooms and fireworks in our PJs ( or :rolleyes1 in the tub) is just too good to pass up!:woohoo:

Staying at Bonnet Creek this year. We will have two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer. At $120 a night, this was the best deal we could find.

We are doing two rooms at a value this time. Last year only 3 of the kids came so we stayed at kidani village because their one bedrooms sleep 5.

We stay at POR! We have seven in our family though, so we have to do two rooms. We asked Nana and Papa to.come along since we had the space at POR. When we move over to CSR, they will stay in my brother's room at POR it is just him and two kids. Firat time at CSR for us, but like I said, we HAVE to do two rooms unless we do a villa.

can't wait for the new resort - Disney's Art Of Animation Resort- to open up in 2012. The will have larger rooms and suites and be considered a value hotel. We are a family of 5 and currently stay at POR and Boardwalk. But it would be nice to save some $

We're one of the families that enjoys th ASMu Family Suites. We find them to have plenty of room and the kids really enjoy the theming and activities at the resort.

I've never had a bad experience with buses that were any different than the typical wait for any type of public transportation. I find it worth it to not have to worry about driving/parking etc.

The food court is okay (just okay in my opinion) but we do dining plan and eat mostly at the parks anyway.

Good luck with your decision :)

I am looking forward to it as well! It looks so cute! Any word on when exactly it is opening in 2012? I haven't checked lately.

The Wilderness homes at Ft Wilderness. Roomy, quiet, so much to do at the resort and we love having a kitchen.

We have 6 in our family...our youngest turned 3 after our trip last May. We are staying at POP in 2 rooms for our trip in 33 days:cool1: but we also have 2 extra kids going with us. That is still my favorite "value" option at this point. The Music suites dont hold any appeal to me, but I am anxiously awaiting the opening of the Art of Animation Resort. We will probably stay there for value trips once it opens.
Our prefrence is to stay deluxe. We were at BLT in a 1BR on our last trip and that is hands down my favorite place to stay. I love the convienence of walking to the MK and the monorail to boot. We have also done one room at the Poly and the CR. I just love being on the monorail line!
We never do moderates. Its either value or deluxe for us...mainly because 2 rooms at a mod really jack up the price and I dont feel like its worth it.
