I am sure that this thread has been done, but I can't find it.

BBQ ribs are my favourite BBQ: short ribs, pork ribs, St Louis ribs, baby back ribs, spare ribs, etc. So....

What is the best BBQ at Walt Disney World?

I really enjoyed the ribs at Boma. They were "Aficanized" imo. The sauce was perfect and had a slightly spicy kick. We stayed at AKL and ate there 2x 2nd time no ribs on the buffet. So maybe call ahead if you are planning to go. So many good roasted meats and sausages on that buffet.

I really like the baby back ribs at House of Blues. I heard the rubs at Yak and Yeti were excellent but I haven't tried them yet.

Out of the 2 places I've had ribs at WDW, Flame Tree BBQ (counter service) was superior to Whispering Canyon Cafe.

My husband loves ribs too. They have ribs in MK counter service - I think the name is starlight cafe. We missed whispering canyon last year but are planning to go back there on our next trip in November. Theirs were very good and it is al you can eat!

Flame Tree. Love the ribs and chicken.

I like the flame tree bbq ribs, the yak and yeti ribs are very good too. T-Rex hasn't been mentioned yet and they have some good ribs too.

We love the ribs at Cosmic Rays in the MK. They are saucy not dry which is how I like them. Huge portions too.

Oddly, the best ribs that I've ever had were at Cape May Cafe. They were smoky, meaty, saucy, & delicious. I also really liked the ribs at Whispering Canyon. They usually aren't saucy enough for me (b/cI like really wet ribs), but the servers are always happy to bring out an extra little mini-pitcher of their housemade bbq sauce. Mmmmmmmm. I really didn't like the ribs we got at Cosmic Ray; they were dry & hardly had any meat.

I prefer a western Carolina style rib do any serve them? A nice dry rub and only finshed off w/ a little glaze at the end.

I'm not a ribs lover but I have eaten the ribs at Sci Fi and really liked them. I think I liked them so much because it was dark in the restaurant and I couldn't really see what I was eating! I have a thing with that!!

Our family LOVED Whispering Canyon Cafe! And we are from Texas - so we know what good BBQ tastes like!

At MK I second Cosmic Rays and at AK Flametree for sure!

My DD (11) considers herself a rib expert - she loves the ribs at Hoop Dee Doo with Whispering Canyon Cafe coming in for a close second. I would have to agree with her.

Excellent suggestion. This is a favorite place for food and view. Very relaxing.

Just watch out for the birds.
