I slept through the movies, obviously we're going to Star Wars Weekends! TR Link Up!

Yes, you read that right. I fell asleep during Star Wars and we're still going to fight the madness of Star Wars Weekends, on Memorial Day Weekend on top of that!

Are we crazy? Maybe a little, but we're planning a wedding a vacation time this year is quite limited.

First, the WHO:

There's me, Kelly, and my fiancé, Geoff:

I'm the Disney fan. He's the Star Wars fan.
I'm luring him down to WDW for the weekend with the promise of Star Wars. I've lost count of how many times I've been to WDW, I'm currently a proud owner of an Annual Pass. Geoff on the other hand...he goes to WDW because it makes me happy

My Mom & Dad will also be joining us:

They started my love of Disney and live about 45 minutes away from the parks.

The WHEN:
We're flying down late on Friday, May 27 and staying until the afternoon of Monday, May 30.

The WHERE:

This is my absolute favorite resort and I'm so excited to see the new refurb! We booked 2 King bed rooms.

yeah for another May trip.We are in our 50's.
We are also going at the end of May and plan on going to SWW, but we will be going on June 3rd.

We almost picked Riverside, I've never stayed on that half...but the lure of a freshly refurbed room was too much for me to resist!

Obviously like the good DIS'er that I am, as soon as we booked the vacation, I was online booking ADRs.

Personally, more than anything I'm looking forward to beignets for breakfast at the food court in POFQ

On our DHS Geoff & I have lunch booked...

I'm super excited to try the cobb salad!

And for dinner Saturday night we're all heading over to the Boardwalk for...

And Jellyrolls! I haven't been to Flying Fish in quite a while, so I'm excited to go back!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm the wrong person to ask because I was not a fan of Brown Derby when we went seven years ago--we had bad service (and only four or so tables occupied) and the food was mediocre at best. We enjoy Sci-Fi; it's not gourmet food, but DH loves the reuben and I was quite pleased with the cheeseburger, onion rings and shake.

Sorry...I was too lazy to do a second post. BUT I value your opinion I haven't been to the Derby in years...I think we went in 96 and I haven't been back since. I just can't imagine eating such a large meal for lunch...and at $30+!

I thought Sci-Fi would be fun. But really any of the other restaurants might be better for lunch.

Soooo decision made! We switched to Mama Melrose for lunch. I couldn't justify the prices at Brown Derby for lunch, it just seemed a little ridiculous...

We really like Mama Melrose...especially when we get to see Fantasmic. We're only skipping it this year because Fantasmic is not playing on our dates and so we are going to Sci-Fi (and trying three new places this year too!).

You probably missed it because it's not a very exciting PTR

Wedding plans are going well. 6 months and 1 week We have all the big stuff planned, so now it's about the details. Right now we're trying to pick a place for the Rehearsal Dinner and I'm deciding where I want to get my hair did for the big day!

And since I was asked about Bandit on another thread, I thought I'd post a quick picture. This one is from Christmas, I love it because he's all dishelved. I think I caught him in the middle of playing. The last couple times we've had him groomed they've trimmed his snout a bit, I'm trying to grow it back out, I like it fuller
