ipad cover cost?

I had a hard time finding the price, too. Not sure why they've hidden it so much. I love the cover but I've decided to get my husband a full cover (around the back, too) when I buy him his iPad for his birthday.

I'm going for a full cover for mine as well. Why just protect the screen? :confused3 I like the Incase magazine cover, I hope they have one for the Ipad 2.

I got mine at Target for like $25. It is a pleather fold over type. I love it.

Also, when I was in the Orlando airport in January, my friend bought a nice one from the Disney Store with Hidden Mickey's etched in it. Pretty cute.

Well, turns out it doesn't matter anyway, I am getting an ipad 1. So this one won't work anyway.

Keep ideas coming on other covers....has anyone tried a zoogue?

Before deciding on a case for your new iPad, think about your day-to-day lifestyle. Are you one of those people that are constantly on the go? Do you spend most of your day sitting at a desk? You also need to think of where and how you will be using your iPad 2. If you are going to be using it at a desk, then you will want a case that has a stand with different viewing angles. If your plan on tracking your crops on the farm with your iPad 2, then you need to look for a heavy duty type of case that will protect your device from a hard hit or a fall. This is one of the most important things you need to keep in mind when buying an iPad case.:cutie:

I'd look on EBAY.....I got most of my accessories that way for a fraction of the cost of actually buying Apple branded products.

I'm making one for my step-dad's ipad. Probably will cost me about 10.00 for materials I need, and I can make it in an afternoon. His will be made out of fabric of vintage cars :D:goodvibes

I should add that if you aren't crafty or know how to sew, you can find alot of really cute ones on etsy.com.

Please note this is an older thread.

I asked about the ipad 2 cover specifically on the Apple.com store page as the ipad cover price wasn't listed.

I am still looking, although I think I have found the one I really want to get. I do not want a slide in and slide out case, I want one that is a sturdy case that will hold the ipad in several positions and stay on during use. I also want it to have a stand.

I am editing this post because, although I thought I was getting an ipad 1, turns out I can get the ipad 2 with the deal I am getting! I am very excited and very glad I didn't purchase a case yet!

Thank you!,

Someone on this board posted an Amazon deal for one in December a nice black leather book type cover for $6.95. I bought it and it's great. Do a search at Amazon and see if any deals show up now.

That might have been me. :) I have this case and love it. People have actually complemented it too! (I don't think it is leather - but it is durable and serves its purpose.)

I think they have it in different colors too.

I have this one from Apple in pink. It's great because when it's closed, it automatically turns off the iPad.

As for as a tote, I bought the Vera Bradley mini laptop(netbook) case in my pattern and it's perfect!

A lot of sites have reduced the price on iPad 1 covers. Check out box wave.com.

Someone mentioned finding cases on etsy. I just ordered a really cute one in a fun print.

I bought the Apple flip cover in blue. I have to agree it looks great but in practice I am not impressed. But for my use around the house it works.

I also bought a padded neoprene sleeve for when I take it places. It is designed for an ipad 1 so was on sale for $5 at Target. Because it is a little bigger then the first ipad I can slide my whole ipad 2 and flip cover right in. I can then put the whole thing into any of my handbags.

I am going to invest in a Zagg screen protector as well.

The one you linked to isn't the one I have. Mine doesn't have the stand or that squarish thing on the front, but otherwise looks similar. Mine is made by Casecrown.
