How many 2 BRs BWV which views?

Looking for help quick please! Does anybody have a breakdown as to how many 2 BRs have preferred view, versus boardwalk view, then standard view at BWV? I would like to waitlist the one with the most quantity, unless they are all about the same....does anybody know the breakdown?

I do not have exact numbers but boardwalk view is about 15% of the resort, standard just under 20%, and then preferred pool/garden view is the other 65%. 2BRs break down that same way.

I think one of the biggest issues with 2 br at the BWV is that fact that none are dedicated. So if you have lots of folks booking studios (like us), then you are left with a ton of 1 bedrooms. Which is probably why alot of folks were able to book a 1 bedroom at the 7 month window during F&W (like my DD). Most of the other resorts have some dedicated 2 bedrooms, but BWV has only lockoffs. Then you have about 20% BW view, 20% standard view, and the rest pool/garden/perferred view.

That is a good question. I always assumed that they didn't hold back anything. I guess we'll never know.

This is definitely not my understanding at BWV or any DVC resort with L/O units.

I don't think the fact that all 2 BR are L/O makes them more difficult to get. At all resorts with L/O, DVC makes a conscious decision as to how many they are going to book as 2 BR and as the smaller components (they have dedicated studio and 1 BR as well). I'm sure at some point they'd re-eval that decision and alter the formula it it were skewed. What they won't do is split the units on the fly even if it means someone doesn't get the unit they want.

I talked with a cm about boardwalk room reservations once. BWV has many dedicated studios & 1 bedrooms. When someone calls for a studio or 1 bedroom, the dedicated are booked first before they start splitting the lockoffs.

Wow...thanks for all the great info. I know I can always count on you guys to have way more info than the CMs! The person I spoke to said that there are the same amount of BW views versus Preferred views, which definitely is not the case, and I kind of knew that as well.

I am also dismayed at the thought that there may not be that many 2 BR even booked as they may be broken into 1BRs and studios. This way there is little chance an actual 2BR might get cancelled so that I can actually get my booking. I think it's too much of a longshot but I might put the preferred view out there anyways and see what happens. I have had decent luck with waitlisting before, so we'll see....glad to have a good perspective based on your info though....
