I am finally starting my PJ!! I don't why it took so long to make one but it's never too late to start

About Us:
I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL and am only 10 minutes from the beach!! I graduated with a degree in culinary management/pastry and got a job as a baker where I went to school. It was unexpected but I am so thankful they offered me the position.
Marcelo was born in Long Island, NY but then his family moved back to Brazil for about 10 years until they came back to the states and his parents currently living in Miami and he lives in Orlando. He graduated from UCF with a bachelors in digital media and is working with Varsity designing websites, magazine ads, t-shirts and whatever else they ask of him.
It is going to be a busy year for DF and I. We are getting married in December and my sister is getting married in less than 2 weeks!! I am turning 25 in April and DF is turning 30 this October. We are looking forward to everything that this year brings

How we met:
We met through my sister and my cousin. DF was a UCF cheerleader (I know sterotypes...I was one of them) and my cousin was a UCF dancer. It was my cousin's 21st birthday and that was the first time I saw him. I didn't think we had anything in common except cheerleading but I guess we had something else. We didn't get together until 2 months later when I contacted him and wanted to see him, which is not like me at all, but I guess things happen when least expected. After that night, we started dating and 4 1/2 years later we got engaged!!!
The Proposal:
We are big Disney Fans and I knew I always wanted to get engaged and married at Disney. It was DF birthday weekend and we were celebrating it with both families at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween.
The proposal night:
It was a Thursday night and it was just DF and I. I was going to surprise him with a specialty cruise to watch the fireworks but in fact he surprised me. When we got on the boat, I handed the driver my camera so he could take a few photos of us during the fireworks. Before I left for the weekend, my mom handed me Marcelos birthday gift which she told me was Disney dollars for the weekend it wasnt thatJ. When it got closer to the end of the fireworks, DF was talking to me and telling me how he loves me and how he wants to be with me forever, but of course I wasnt paying attention to him because I was focused on the fireworks. He started opening his birthday gift which actually was my ring!! I had it the whole time and didnt know it!!! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said YES of course and the best part was we had pictures taken!!!! It was truly romantic and everyone was in on it, even the boat driver!!! It was an evening I will never forget. That wasnt the only surprise he had for me. He then told me the next day we have an appointment with Disney to start planning our wedding!!! And 2 years later, here we are, getting married on December 10, 2011!!!
Well, thats our story and now for the fun part!! We have our planning session on April 14th and our menu tasting on June 10th
!!!

and can't wait to hear more about your big day!!
... your DF sounds brilliant! and the idea of roping your mum in is fab! I cant believe you had hold of your ring the whole time! 
I am still waiting to receive it, but I am secretly hoping this process takes long because I have no idea what I am going to do with myself... I know that I would want to be constantly trying it on!!!
